First of all, thank you for such a poetic OS 👏
Let me try my hand on decoding 😆 this blue Prince is none but our Darling Lord. This ocean may have double significance. Firstly, Dwaraka's ocean, and secondly, the ocean of births and deaths having mortals on its other side. A noble soul (that crystal) had come to His side through that ocean. He picked it up and observed it lovingly. Then left it again for reaching the other end to take another new garment.
You have written so beautifully that one can extract one's own meaning from it 😉 Keep such things coming! Jai Shri Krishna!

As a stand alone, it's quite creative! The way the prince jumps with cold and surprise, the way he casts the crystal back into the ocean.. all very descriptive and enthralling. ANd the part where the sky rapidly changes colour - just like the weather of the past few days. Just brought the scene in front of me.

What I still haven't been able to understand after my 3rd or 4th reading, is, what is the prince examining the crystal for? And why prince, when the queens are searching for him? Or is the prince the son of the king? But since the crown princess is present, I assume that the prince is not the son of the 'king'?

Aww! Thank you so much Bhaiya! Yes, the weather for the past few days has been so pleasant! What I meant by the crystal, was that Krishna, the prince, loses himself for sometime, and plays with the crystal. But the moment Devaki calls him, he has to leave the child behind, and get going with his royal duties. He throws away the crystal hoping that the person to pick it up would be a younger one, with lesser responsibilities in life.

And the 'Queens' was a typo. I'll edit it just now. 😳

Good OS Radhika . But I feel there is much more story untold than the told one . Very brief , is it a prologue ? Or the main story itself ? You have to develop a beautiful story after this interesting briefing ??!!

And, am sure , you can and you will ! Waiting to read a beautiful young Kanha story .

Thank you so much Di! I am really sorry to disappoint you, but this is the end of the One Shot. But, I promise I'll soon write an SS on the same line. 😊
