A good rakshasi...hmmm...first name that came into my mind was Trijata, who accompanied Sita till the time she was at Ashoka Vatika. Trijata was like a mother and a friend to Sita.

Even Mandodari was a good rakshasi. Despite of being Ravana's wife, she always used to advise her husband to return sita back to Ram, as she knew the outcome would lead her husband into the darkness of death. A devotee to the Lord Shiva; always praying for her husband's good life and a good mother. I still remember when Indrrajeet was going to do his final combat with Laxmana, she told him that following the virtuous and dharma's path would eventually give him moksha.

I would love to join it😊

We all pretend to be rakshasis in this AT, Nandini.😆 We all have "rakshasi" names and we call each other by that name. Since female demons are limited in our puranas, we can also have male demons in our AT.😉
So far, these are the rakshasis we have.
I am Shurpanakha.
Varnita is Tataka.
Vedo is Putana.
Thabu is Lankini.
Ankita is Holika.
Mita is Trijata.
Sadiie is Ravan.
Aishi is Hidimbi.
So if you want to join our rakshasi club to, you can choose Mandodari, Surasa, or Simhika, the only rakshasis left from the Ramayana, or you can choose a rakshasi from another purana or a male demon also if you want.😛

She really looked like a royal princess

And her Lakshmi Avatar was wow

Yes, Debina was lovely as Sita Maiyya. ❤️ I loved her in all her avatars, as Lakshmi Ma, Princess Sita, Vanvaasi Sita, Maharani Sita, and Vandevi. She was also really good as Vedavati in the background story Vibhishan told Mandodari. She was perfect in everything!👏

Here is a question for you about good rakshasis - I know she is not from Ramayan, but what about Kayadu, mother of Prahlad? Was she from the rakshas race? I think I never thought about it but I was always assuming she was. She was a very great mother and also tried to follow her patni-dharm, even her husband was a brute and a blackheart like Hiranyakashapu!

Janaki surasa was not a demon. She is nagmata and came disguised as a demon to test hanuman on the order of the king of the devatas

Hey guys, I made a siggie of Ram and Sita from our Ramayan and Radhe Krishna from Ramanand Sagar's Shri Krishna. I depicted the pushp vatika scene from both shows. Hope you like it, and feel free to use!
