I think this is Debina's own choice, Nandini.🤔 She mentioned in an interview that she does not want to play any ordinary bahu of television. After playing Sita, whom she defines "the bahu of all bahus", she wants to do different roles and not some saas-bahu soap.

But I do admit that I want to see her in a good youth love story. Those are not always saas-bahu and could be interesting.😊

Here is a list of the available rakshasis I could come up with from our mythology, for those members who have not been sanctified into our club.😆 If people remember others, do add them to the list!

1. Surasa - the Naag kanya who disguised herself as a demon to test Hanuman.

2. Simhika - the rakshasi who tried to devour Hanuman by swallowing his shadow.

3. Kaikasi - the mother of Ravana who instigated him to defeat the Gods and take over Lanka.

4. Vajramala - the wife of Kumbhakarna

5. Dhanyamalini - the second wife of Ravana

5. Mandodari - the principal queen of Ravana (though she was not a rakshasa by birth)

Loved the way Gurmeet and Debina having those masti time on the item dance sequence from Gurmeet's upcoming movie. It would be really awesome and eye capturing moment, if they do a movie together, or come back on screen as a couple.

Also, our Mythological shows aren't complete without their Rakshas and Rakshasi. From our Mythological shows to the movies, it's all about good vs evil!!!!!!

That is our dream come true. After Ramayan, Gurmeet and Debina were in a short documentary movie called Nayi Chetna, but I want to see them in a cute romance story together as hero and heroine. It would be really nice to see everyone's beloved Ram and Sita in modern avatars.😎

Yeah, the puranas are incomplete without evil, because if there was no "evil", then there would be no "good" since everyone would be one and the same.

I have missed lot I can see - here I go off for a little while and all these good people turn to rakshasi! I will pray to Shukracharya to keep you all within the limits!😆

So here to keep you all as decent as demon Prahlad, I will give you some inspiration! Hope you will enjoy😊

Yes, we all are very naughty.😈 You know what Bhakti? I thought Shukracharya would be a perfect nickname for you.😉 You are not at all a rakshasi-type, but with your bhajans you are always bringing us on the right path so you should be the Guru of all rakshasas. 😉 We will call you "Gurumata" if that is okay with you.
