Hey Guys,
@ Janu - guess you're back from the temple, then 😆 Yeah, sorry about not dropping word.🤣 We were actually planning for a short darshan before coming home for dinner, but my mom did not feel like cooking so we ate out, and then returned home pretty late.😳 thanks for stacking the avis and still looking forward to those replies!!! Why don't I just give them to you here instead of making you wait?😆 Anyway, I just LOVE the RSR Chudamani sig from the first batch you posted several pages back. The bluish coloring of the sig really stands out and the textures you used are superb! In case you still need help choosing, I like the second version best. The ASR sigs are both super cute as I mentioned in our PMs, the yellow version is my favorite (don't remember if that was the first or second). The RSK sigs are both SO freaking gorgeous, especially the VD one. I love how you sharpened the pictures and colored them, looking forward to an RSR monsoon sig in that style.😉 And now coming to your latest post, you already know how much I ADORE all the avis, but once again, the lullaby ones are the best, not only out of all the ones you made so far but some of the best from all the avis on IF I've seen thus far! I'm definitely going to stack those and use sometime soon, they're sooo pretty! I also love the other ones a lot. Soja Lalla ones are definitely not bad, I LOVE the bluish coloring. It gives the bandi grah setting a very serene look despite the gloomy situation, and the other RSR avis are also superb, can't wait to see more very soon! and most welcome for the tips, I see that they worked... the new avis are A-effing-MAZING 😲👏👏👏👏👏 Sweet scene you chose for the ASR one, I too like the landscapes they used... and those white birds that had such an extensive role in Aranya Kand, wonder if they were on the payroll 😆 Aww, thanks for liking these avis! This scene was one of those from ASR Ram-Sita scenes not overdone, with just the right amount of sweetness and simplicity we'd expext from Ram and Sita. In general the vanvaas scenes were pretty cute, but this one I like the best. And nice observation about the birds, lol, they do appear quite often throughout Aranya kand. Can't get over the straight up divinity of the Bharat Milaap ones though, you know from the FC days how dear that scene and the entire episode or two related to it are to me; it's a treasure trove of lessons in love and bhakti that you can learn from anew each time you watch it 😍 You captured some of the most iconic moments from the song and made the coloring so rich-looking, one of the best RSR avis I've ever seen and among the best of all creations you've made. Using the horizontal ones now-ish! Awww, thank you SO much for loving and using, you really made my night and I'm going to go to sleep now all happy and warm!☺️ Bharat Milaap was one of RSR's best episodes, and it was so well done that we did not even notice Sanjay Jog's age, which was often evident in the earlier episodes and kind of prevented us (at least me) from thinking of him as the younger brother of Ram/Arun Govil, lol (come to think about it, even in ASR, Vijay Bhatia looked older than Gurmeet, didn't he? I wonder why the Bharat actors are always older than the Ram actors). I just love the debate Ram, Bharat, and Janak had shortly before this song. Like you said, it's full of bhakti and morality lessons, and really makes me feel so happy and proud of my culture/religion because ours is one where brotherly/sisterly love and affection is pronounced and we have such ideals as Ram, Bharat, Lakshman, and Shatrughan to aspire to. No one can be as perfect as them, of course, but they are so inspirational, especially in the light of deteriorating sibling relationships today.

@Lola,
Aaah, did you really make those sigs, or did you steal someone else's and put your copyright on it?🤪🤬 j/k j/k🤣 Yeah, you caught me, I'm makhan chor ki bhakt - siggie chor 😆 Seriously though, they are freaking AMAZING and I'm using the second one right away (which is my favorite out of all the versions, btw)!I love how you did the text on it, it looks simple and does not cover any of the faces, not to mention that the font is classy, love it! As usual, coloring is fabulous and I'm sooo in love with it, you'll really have to teach me how to do it.😛Thank you thank you thank you 🤗 I must say I heart how your sigbox looks right now, both my fav shows rep'd side by side in such similar gold-reddish colorings... yayyy for coordination 😆 And lol your fav version always seems to differ from mine 😕😆 That was the first one I made and I thought the text was too linear and boring, so I tried to make it funkier by doing the small blob text on the others... anywho thrilled you like it, thanks for using, and yeah I'll perfect my PSDs and post asap! Thanks again!The icons are breathtaking as well, especially the first one. That's my favorite pic of Deepika and blue goes sooo well with the pic. I'm using it as my profile pic now, they're all courtesy of Lola these days.😆
Hehe if I have any say in it things shall stay that way, so whenever our mytho buddies (at least those who visit this thread) see "you" via your profile, they can't help but think of me 😈😆 j/k... thank you so so so so much, una vez mas, te amo, mi amiga mejor 🤗
lol not the night owl like your nani maa, are you 😆 Definitely not! I'm one of those 'early to sleep, early to rise' people.😆 j/k... hope you enjoyed your darshan and dinner then!
THANKOOO!!!! I was itching to know whether you'd pick up on the song that the text was from like Aishu did... guess Aish will, after all she was MusicalAiswarya 😆 Will have to go back and see it...to tell you the truth, I wasn't really paying attention to the text because I was too busy oggling at the sig, your fault.😉😆 anywho really glad you liked it, it was from the pixlr era so idk if I can bring that coloring back but will def try 😆 And thanks for helping me choose! Whenever the update happens, I'll go with that one.
thanks again! lol again both of those were from pixlr so I'm especially glad you liked 'em that much... esp the VD one since I thought it came out too modern and grungy 😆 Will def take up that suggestion, thanks for it! It wasn't grungy, but maybe a bit less sharpening wouldn't look bat either...it looked good for Devaki's expression though, because the tiredness and despair really stuck out!
Awww that's super duper sweet of you, thank you so much for adoring and thanks in advance for using! I'm sure you've seen, and even made, far better ones than that but the encouragement goes a long way... wuv u <3 Btw technically it's not a lullaby, it's a wakeup song... but it sure sounds like a lullaby, when I was hearing it while downloading the vid I was dozing off peacefully 😆 Whatever it was, I love the tune and was sooo happy it was reused in RSK. Could you make a matching one of Yashoda waking up Krishna if I post some pics of the scene?
For realz? I thought that violety color was too overdone as was the red of baby Kanha's blanket... too harsh a coloring for a soft scene... but glad you thought otherwise, I'm relieved now! Thankooo once again <3 Of course more coming soon! Can't wait! I also want to see some happy Gokul family scenes, especially of that rare moment when Nand Baba got to hold baby Krishna.
Yeah, it was nice. The ones that focused on their actions were always better than the ones that were too dependent on words... love as pure as SiyaRam's hardly needed words to be conveyed 😍 That's very true...sweet dialogues are all nice in their own way, but the more silent, action-focused ones that required the actors to portray everything through expressions were always the best, both in old and new Ramayan. Sometimes, too much dialogue (which was often there in the pre-vanvaas moments of ASR) takes away from the meaning of the scene. It's another one of the reasons the Rukmini-Krishna scenes towards the very very end of RSK annoyed me to no end. They just wouldn't shut up.😆
All thanks to you for making them so awesome! Speaking of which, the RadheShyam ones you just posted are equally fantabulisticcc 👏👏👏👏👏 Like I said in the PM, the moments you chose are so incredibly adorable, especially the one of Kanha playing the flute... both Swapnil and Shweta conveyed RadheShyam's innocence and childishness with such perfection 😍 And the sig is pure gold... loveee the light shimmery texture, can't get over how perfect the whole thing is from the way you used the texture so it adds its shine and we can still see enough of the pics underneath, the impeccable blending, and the subtle text... love everything about it, using right now as you can see to reintroduce the Ram-Krishna balance in my dabba 😆 Aww, thank you sooo much for loving and using, made my night once again! I just love Swapnil and Shweta in all their scenes, but there are some that really stick out and after Uddhav, this one is next along with He Praneshwar Vidaa.
Word! Though the age thing doesn't bother me one bit at least in Sanjay's case, because all along his expressions and behavior were always so enthusiastic and mischievous and childlike (e.g. in the post-Gurukul reunion and during the negchaar) that though he didn't look younger, he clearly seemed younger because of how his hyperness contrasted with Arun's stillness and serenity 😳 Yeah, I know his behavior was that of a younger brother, but it initially took me awhile to get used to him as Bharat because of the age difference. I really began to love him in the role in Ayodhya Kand. Before that, I was kind of indifferent to him and loved Arun and Sunil more as Ram and Lakshman, especially during their travels with Vishvamitra. There wasn't much to focus on anyway with Bharat, so he didn't make an impact on me til Ayodhya Kand. Re: the dialogue, I agree with every bit of what you said... it serves as a guide to live by for both human relationships and devotion to God, the idea of being selfless and accepting His will instead of praying that He accepts our own. It has helped me correct myself time and again in my life. Yup, that's very true! This is something every one of us has to work on throughout our life, I think. We get so caught up in our lives sometimes that we forget destiny is driving us.
