Lol, that part was very funny.😆😆 Who are they to dictate who will compare what with whom? OBVIOUSLY people will compare Zee's Ramayan with NDTV's, as both are of 21st century. Who compares a 2012 Ramayan with one made in 1986.🤣 And so far, their Ramayan has the most family drama in the first episode itself. Just look at Dashrath and Kaikeyi.🤪

But one thing is true that they will focus on main story...a bit too much in my opinion. The lady who is playing Kaikayi (I think her name is Shikha) says there will only be 64 episodes, and that is less than even RSR which was 78 not including Uttarkand, which was another 30 episodes I think. How can they possibly do justice to the epic if they show so less?🤔 They should have just taken a movie if they wanted to glaze over the story. It is my belief that serials should neither be too long nor too short, and while ASR's 300 episodes could have been cut down to 270 or something without the unnecessary Luv Kush and Ahi-Mahi episodes, as well as other filler episodes in Kishkindha Kand, it's pace was very good for the most part.👏 Even RSR's pace was very good for being a weekly 1-hour show, but RSR already showed just the main stories of Ramcharitmanas and Valmiki Ramayana. If Zee plans to be shorter, it'll have to cut down on a lot of important stories😕, because RSR showed all the important stories in the 78 episodes it had. Some are even saying that it'll have only 30 epis, but I find that untrue because there's no way a serial based on Ramayana can be 30 episodes. It won't be able to do justice to the epic.
