Hey Guys,
I have news for you...it's pretty old actually, but I was looking through some old articles and found this.
Did you know that Ramayan reached 5.00 TRPs during its peak episodes?😲
I knew the show was well-received by audience, but not like this! I wasn't part of the Ramayan forum during it's earlier days so I never knew, but I'm really proud that a mythological show got such high TRPs.

Lalit Negi to play Digvijay in Chandragupta Maurya

Lalit Negi to play Digvijay in Chandragupta Maurya

The actor is all set to enter the Imagine show as Chandragupta Maurya's best friend...

Imagine's historical show Chandragupta Maurya, produced by Sagar Arts and 72 Degree Northe is getting ready for the first big battle between Chandragupta and Dhananand (Sooraj Thapar). At the outset the show will see the comeback of Chandragupta's (Ashish Sharma) childhood friend Digvijay.

The handsome Lalit Negi who played the role of Shatrugn in Sagar Arts' Ramayan makes his comeback on imagine with this show.

A source says, "Chandragupta and Digvijay share the same warmth and friendship even now. Digvijay returns just before the battle and he will help Chandragupta all thro' the battle".

TellyBuzz got in touch with Lalit and he confirmed the news. The actor starts his shoot from today and his entry is expected soon.

We also hear that Chandragupta Maurya will turn a weekly now from bi-weekly from next month.
Look forward to lot many twists as the battle intensifies...

yesterday I was checking some edited pics... n trust me...
only by seeing a pic of gurmeet (pic from a epi which I dint even see) I could get guess that this pic is from pre-vanvaas epis (which was 100% correct)...
It made me realise that (alongwith with the female characters) even the make up/looks of the male characters were changed with each n every instance/step of their life...

I loved this small-small detailings of ASR which made the show not only a live-myth...but a reality which everyone was forced to believe n live with it...
may be this is why Debina & Gurmeet (alongwith their GREAT acting) left a mark on everyone's heart...

Hi dear, so glad to see you in this forum again!🤗🤗
Yes, you're most definitely right. The makeup of actors before vanvaas and after vanvaas was very different...not only makeup, but also acting. As Prince Ram, Gurmeet looked very innocent and cute, as if he was still nervous about acting in Ramayan but was willing to give it his best, and during vanvaas he got more confident and displayed Ram's strength and prowess. During Uttarkand as Raja Ram, I think Gurmeet was at his best, because he displayed that royal and divine persona of Lord Ram really well and seemed as if he had fully stepped into the shoes of Ram. There was no nervousness or hesitancy in his acting, and his dialogue delivery improved significantly.👏 As Prince Ram he was good too, but both his looks and acting were significantly different in UK.
Not just Gurmeet, it was like that for Debi as well, because as Princess Sita she did not quite seem as if she had stepped into the shoes of Sita...though she was trying her best, at times I did not get the feel of Sita Mata from her, but as Maharani Sita she was just amazing.😍 The strength, confidence, and purity of Sita Mata were really well portrayed by her, and even her makeup improved...though that is an improvement from the Sagars' side and not really the actors.😆

@Janaki di - yess... its really difficult to be away from MM forum... n I hope to be little regular from nowadays...

oh yaa... really... I loved the dialogue deliveries of the actor during UK alot... even their eyes were talking...
though during Baal Kand, it was more of eye conversation between Ram Sita ... they were both shy n trying to b frank with each other in every step.. It looked so sweet... but when it was UK..they were a REAL KING n QUEEN OF THE UNIVERSE
From dialogue to posture , everything improved of the actors (including the rajmatas n other family members)...

I also loved the Sita n Ravan's part... lovedd Debi mam to the core in this.. fire was coming out of her eyes (though later I heard from you all that Sita was little calm than that which was shown in ASR)..
and obviously the crying scenes of Sita... ufff... its was flawless.. we all cried with herr... but whereas, I those scenes of Guru sir (after seperation) looked little fake to me... I mean it looked as if he is trying to cry (though it was also improved later)...
