RECENT INTERVIEW OF GURMEET CHODHARY !!
Gurmeet Choudhary, a very well known name on Indian television has won many hearts in the last few years with the different roles that he has played to perfection. Currently, he is seen playing Yash on Zee TV's current number one show "Punar Vivah" by Shashi and Sumeet Mittal Productions. We at fuze got the chance to chat with the young and aspiring actor and got to know him better both personally and professionally.

1- What is your favourite summer destination and drink?
Favourite summer destination is my cool bedroom'And favourite drink is nimbupaani.

2- What is your definition of love?'
Love is purity, care, understanding and togetherness with your partner.

3-You played the lover boy Maan earlier and now a mature husband, Do you think love fades after marriage as most people seem to think?
Definitely not. Love matures with the maturity of a relationship. It becomes more stable and deep.

4- You worked with top actress on TV like Drashti Dhami and now Kratika Sengar, how was it to work with Drashti and now Kratika? What is the difference?'
Drashti became well known with Geet. She is a good actress and I wish her well for her career. And Kratika I knew was known for Jhansi ki Rani. She too is a good actress . Difference is of two different faces and persons, otherwise both are very good.

5-What are your future plans post Punar Vivah?'.
I believe in taking life as it comes. Let's hope for the best.

6- Any plan for Geet season 2, since we are getting so many requests on this matter?
I don't repeat myself neither in my looks or the work. Because, as an actor I want to do diversified work.

7- From youth show to family show, tell us something about it'. How difficult is it?'
Please don't forget "Ramayan" also. From mythological to youth oriented character to family drama. In between I also played myself in 'Pati, Patni aur Woh'. My journey has been extremely diversified and satisfactory.

8- There is news of you participating in the dance reality show 'Jhalak Dhiklaja', how true is this?
Why predict and not just wait and watch.

We wish Gurmeet all the very best for his career and personal life.

FOR GURMEET FANS !! TO FEEL MORE PROUD ON HIM !!

GURMEET CHAUDHARY IS MR PERFECTIONIST

Television and movie stars are often tagged as pricey and known to throw tantrums. They are misquoted, misunderstood they throw around, but, there is another side to these so called arrogant artists. In real life, these actors are very hard working. How do we know it?

Well, we were at the Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa sets, where Gurmeet Chaudhary, one of the celebrity contestants, was shooting for the show's promo. And what did we see?

During the shoot, we saw Gurmeet rehearsing for each step over and again till he was confident about it, even before the final take. While a lot of celebrities and walk away with little bit of mistakes on stage, our actor seemed disappointed whenever he made a mistake. And that's not all, to tell you more, even when the director seemed ok with the take, he insisted for a retake because he was not satisfied and thought could do better.

Hold on, there's more to the story, there was a take when he had to stand on the shaky and unsteady Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa disco ball, on which he had to dance without any support, he agreed to do it instantly without hesitation.

For all those who are wondering how the shot went' we would like to give two thumbs up for that brilliant shot and applauds for the courage and perseverance!

Mouni dances for Main Lakshmi Tere Aangan Kii. I really commend her for being able to dance to such classics. It takes real dance mettle, but of course, she is Mouni Roy. She is an amazing dancer.

Mythological serials still acceptable to audience: Arun Govil

Mythological serials still acceptable to audience: Arun Govil
Arun Govil
Actor Arun Govil who played Ram in the teleserial Ramayan believes that "mythological serials did bring the right kind of positivity but after Ramayan and Mahabharat, the kind of such shows lacked sincerity so did not create the right kind of impact.

"The makers of such shows lost direction, so the kind of reaction the earlier serials evoked from the audience could not be repeated due this. But the audience for mythological shows is still there, take the example of the current show on Devon Ke Dev Mahadev, though personally I have not seen, is creating ripples. So such shows are still acceptable to the audience," he says.

It was nice hearing from Arunji again after so long.😊 His article also provoked some thoughts though. Do you think he's right? Have the directors "lost direction" in new mythological shows? Moreover, is it really right for him to say this, since he was also an actor of old mythological serials and for him to criticize the new ones without watching them seems a bit unfair to me.😳 He could point out both the positives and negatives of these shows after watching, can't he?
I think he does have a point though that direction in the new mythological shows is more faulty than in the old ones, but in terms of depth I think the new ones are getting a chance to show more stories and go into depth of the scriptures, which the older ones could not because of time constraint and limited resources. So I think some of the new mythological serials at least are utilizing their time and resources in a good way, but it's true that direction is not as professional as it was during Ramanand Sagar and BR Chopra's times.
What is your opinion on this? Are new mythological shows doing any good for the audience today? Amidst saas-bahu soaps and family dramas which portray women in a regressive manner and husbands as cheating, conniving villains, aren't mythological shows a refreshing break away from all that? Despite their faults, don't they have positives also?
Do you think mythological shows should stop being made in this 21st century, or do you think they are doing good for the audience? That's the main theme of the discussion I want to spur.😊
