Sorry to jump in but that question really is tough di!

Is it Vishnu?
Technically he wasn't born of a woman as even Lord Bramha emerged from a lotus risen out of his navel.
He was cursed by Brighu. As Krishna, he was cursed by Gandhari.
But then the first one doesn't apply at all.
idk, I assume it has to be a god since there is a devotee involved.

I'm trying to recall any character who satisfies the first condition. The only person I can think of is Narada, who coveted a princess created by Vishnu's maya, who married Vishnu when given the chance (the Hari-mukh episode) But I'm not sure whether that qualifies as Narada being in love w/ his beloved - only if Narada was in love w/ Lakshmi herself would that condition be valid.

LJR, please provide the answer.

Sorry for disappearing guys, I totally forgot about this thread, but the answer is Shrimati Radharani.

1. Lalita Sakhi was Radharani's best friend, and she was deeply in love with Krishna more than any other of the Gopis (not counting Radha).

2. Radha was found in a ditch by Vrishabhanu and his wife, she was not born of a woman's womb (like Sita and Rukmini).

3. Radha was cursed by Shridhama to be separated from Krishna throughout her lifetime, and Shridhama was her devotee.

Oh yaar. You should have also forgotten it for just few more hours because I exactly came here to give that very reply and saw your post.😡😆 😆 My bad luck because I saw Vrish's and Aishu's post just before leaving for outside and gave a strong thought on the character on the way towards a function and found the answer.😊😉 I still had doubt with 2nd clue of mother's womb so first opened google and in a few minutes afterwards when I opened the thread, missed the bus.🤣 🤣 🤣

And sorry for not giving strong thought before as it was given today like a forced challenge. 🤣

And this is called 'idhar kunwa udhar khai' in Hindi. Trap from both the sides. 😆 In earlier post you had to say sorry for posting late and in the next post you had to say sorry for just the opposite reason. Ha ha ha. Let's wait for someone to post the clues chelli. But now don't forget about the thread.😉 😊

ROFL OK I've been waiting for you to answer this for weeks!! haha I did think it might have been Radha...but I wasn't too sure about point 2 since I had never heard anything about her birth. Thanks for giving such a toughy...kept us all on our toes I see! 😆
