Do you think it was right to bring back Manya Narang?
I was kind of certain that they would bring her back. She was eye candy for th guys.

But honestly they should have had all eliminated contestants sing and let audience or judges decide basis their performance.

Manya definitely is not as good as they are making her out to be.
Also, I think it was too early for a wildcard. They probably did it sooner because maalavika was the only female contestant left. A way to increase trps.

I haven't watched the episode yet but I kinda guessed that they're bringing Manya back from some online spoilers and the hints Sonu gave yesterday.

I definitely think she's not the most deserving candidate for wildcard. She was actually sounding "besura" more than once, in the "Rangeela Re" song and the other Lata Mangeshkar song she sang.

You're right, it probably eye-candy for the guys and the fact that there's only one girl left in the top 8.

But it is unfair on better, more deserving candidates.

I do think they should have had all the eliminated contestants sing again and the judges should have decided who to bring back. This seems like more a channel decision than anything to do with the judges or real singing talent.

very very unfair to bring manya only back...see good looks helps! there were many more deserving candidates.

one member(pallavi25) had accurately predicted that they will keep manya till the end for her lookswith singers like rohit,mohit,khudabaksh and revanth,where exactly does she fit in?😕

The format is completely messed up this season. To begin with, TOP 24 were selected on the basis of their old performance videos. Then that whole double elimination round started with no audience voting. Now a random wildcard entry unlike previous Seasons where all/ some eliminated contestants were given a chance.
Plus they never show off-screen segments (rehearsals, song selection etc) instead we get family saga and Khudabaksh's story is in almost every epi.
Overall, the show is going too fast. Maybe judges hav committed to a couple of months only hence everything is being rushed. 😕

While I agree that brining Manya back was a bit unfair when there were better singers than her HOWEVER, the day she was in bottom when she sang Pataka Guddi with Malvika she actually had a damn good performance and she shouldnt have been in the bottom at that time anyways and the second song she wasn't as good
I did like her Nagada Sang Dhol, I think if she works hard she has it in her

I have nothing against Manya but it would have been better had they asked the remaining eliminated contestants to perform and then selected the best contested. Manya is nothing in front of Shravan,Revanth and the rest.

exactly my point. I have nothing against Manya per se, though I still say she's amongst the weaker singers.
But if she performed well on a given day she should've been brought back. But why choose her over others? Have a wildcard round and choose a deserving person

They should have been fair to the other eliminated contestants.

For most shows, they bring back a few elminated contestants and pick one based on their performance in the wildcard round.

Actually I find the whole wildcard thing unfair to the other singers. After having outperformed Manya in previous rounds, they are now forced to compete with her for public voting (which is hardly based on performance).
