Anyone here has any idea or can please explain to me, why double eliminations are being done? Do they want to end Indian Idol early? or plan to make a wild card round from eliminated contestants later and then start public voting?

I think they started with 14 instead of 12 so double elimination for first few weeks.

By the way your post/signature reminded of that wonderful dreamy serial

any idea how long the show would last? with such eliminations, seems like it wouldnt even last for 3 months unless if there are many episodes with wild card entries.

i think wild card is there. manya said yesterday she will comeback. i think she may be part of wildcards

@Bold: 😃 Yeah, it was really dreamy (until the things went downhill 😆 ); so dreamy that I haven't been able to replace my sig with my new fav jodis/shows too. 😆 One of the best shows and jodis. Even without almost no promotions, many people loved it.😳 Good to see 1 more fellow viewers after 2 yrs!

Nopes, no idea. :( Thats what with this speed show will end sooner than expected. Unless some new twist is added.
