oh well, if you think talking down to someone makes you look smarter then that says a lot about you. this isn't about choosing between two equally popular and well-established designer labels...a more apt analogy would be that of a gold-plated item and a solid 24k gold piece. if you say the gold-plated item is more valuable, anyone would think your statement is absurd. saying the contestant who gets more votes is the more deserving one is an absurd statement along the lines of the example i just gave.

yeh yeh. Why gold plated? Prashant is Iron and Amit is diamond. We Prashant fans spend all our money for Iron when Amit's fans are spending it for diamond. Now happy? Yes? Good😊

you're totally missing my point. My point was that Prashant is only getting sympathy votes for being of Nepali ancestry, from a small town, and for being a policeman. My point was, that if he didn't have these two unique characteristics, he would never have made it to the top

I only used Mumbai as an example because it's a big city- people from the bigger cities tend to get less regionalistic votes. (like Emon- Kolkata never seemed so proud that someone from there was making their city famous)
