My calculations: Amit will win

It is true that Prashant had the huge fan following but with the exit of Chang, Ankita and Emon i am sure a big chunk of their fans will be voting for Amit. That is why in the last gala Amit got the highest votes. Now with Emon out of competition, Amit should emerge as winner although there will not be big margin like last year.

I think Prashant coming 2nd was due to Emon since both comes from West Bengal. Emon going out this week will bring more advantage to Prashant. But true difference will depend on their individual performances.

AMIT has to get an Avalanche of VOTES to Win! I hope we can achieve that this season.

amit got the max votes last week coz he is now gettin the support of the fans of the voted out contestants (he ws the 2nd fav of many) ... apart frm the support hes rec frm his own fans (NE, india n all over the world)
n with this support v'll hopefully c him win the title.. 😉

Huh, this logic is not convincing. I don't believe fans will keep switching their support and piling up against only one particular contestant. How come fans of chang, ankita, emon, puja, deepali blah blah would all go against prashant to favor amit?

However, I agree Amit will be the winner, because there r rumors saying that Sony has fixed to declare Amit the winner.

amit was the 2nd fav 4 the fanz of most contestants... so logic says..now that their fav is out they will vote 4 amit (their 2nd fav.. eg had it been deepali/ emon instead of amit i wud have voted 4 them coz they were my 2nd n 3rd fav)

So, I don't think one should cast paid expensive SMS vote as those votes is going to be trashed. Voting is now just to waste your hard earning.

my guess would be prashant the winner because he will be getting tons of votes from calcatta, delhi, bombay, darjelling sikkim

last time votes from darjelling were jammed, hope that doesnot happen again
