This is a very old topic but being a huge Amit fan I had to put in my two-pence.
So here goes :

The first time I watchd II3 was the last auditon round(kolkata),just remeber Changs jump in the pool,nothng else.
then I didnt watch any theatre round.
Piano round - Khamoosh raat (nice voice)
Bheegi bheegi (not impressed,agree with Alisha,hit lots of bum notes)
Phoolon ke rangse ( this guy has the best voice of the lot but song is too soft wont get him votes)

elimination round - very sad abt Bhavin,that Amit guy was also not bad

wild card,dil lena - Awesome

Chal chale - what a voice !!
freaked out when he forgot lyrics, when I heard the reason for forgttng,was very touchd abt his senstivity & feelings for his friend.
From that moment on I made a mental note of him.

Deepali was my fav uptil now but Amit made a place in my heart.
Remember that Deepali & Emon was thought to be the strongest back then.

Anyways missd the part where he came back & sang wohsikander.
Later watchd these in sify.

became a regula viewer from gala 1 & never missd any ep.
gala 1 : I didnt remember any of the participants that much except for Deepali.
When Amit sang I was like 'wait this is the guy with the beautiful voice'
& In dino was superb,his voice sooo smooth,this song holds a very special place since with this song I became a fan.

Jhumroo : Ok I love this guy .

kora kaagaz : speechless,totally out of this world
gustakh dil : danced alone when he sang :) awesome,fabulous

hamma 2 : awwwwwwwwwww very masculine voice !!
bulla ki jana : out of this world
taanhayi : noooooooooooo,the part he sang oozed emotion

apart from all these loved all other renditions ,special mention : dard-e-dil
For me his best voice is in : In dino,Meri soni,Pehla nasha & kora kaagaz

I first noticed AMIT wen he was trying to solve that richa-Prashant fight!! 😃 I became a big fan of his in the 1st piano round..wen he sang Khamosh raat....I was lyk: WAT A VOICE!!! 😛 From then on, I luved each n every performance of his!!! I cried a bucket wen he was voted out!!

I first heard Amit when he was singing for WildCard entry " Dil lena".. That was the very first time and I instantly said I wish to see him in finale with Prashant.Swear to god that's the exactly what I said and I kept crossing my fingers for him for 2nd round WC and result. I was really happy when he made it to top 13.He's my fav along with Prashant.I am happy for both guys 👏

Absolutely, u cld see the honesty in his eyes.I felt so much for him then.

Also the vid in Dil lena where Prashant/Bhavin all acted to show how Amit talkd was fun.
