I think that some big change came over Emon after the night Deepali was eliminated. I know that sounds really weird, but it seemed like after he cried his eyes out that day, he hasn't done anything immature since. I feel like he's really matured since the beginning of this show, like you said. I too am waiting for the day when Emon will improve on whatever he has been criticized for and becomes a professional playback singer. It would be great if Javed Ji writes lyrics for him as that would be like a slap in the face for Mr. Javed Akhtar.

Javed Akhtar was harsh no doubt ....but what he says is right.....he is trying to copy sonu too hard it does reflect in his song....such a big difference in his voicewhen he sang sonu's song and then kishore da's song this friday...the kishore da song has good voice quality as compare to sonu's song....he does copy him ...intentionally or unintentionally he should know...the other thing his voice is very thin..but then again he is just 17/18 so his voice will get mature in year or 2....at this time i would say Parshant and Amit one of them should win the titile

nope, i agree with what Javed saheb said...........100% , he'e right in his saying and i think emon should have been eliminated instead of Ankita , its all about gender biasness coz if u remember that episode where the contestants had to choose one name whom they would like to eliminate ... all the boys chose ankita, they have had a grudge against Ankita ... Ankita is also a good singer n perfect performer but she goes out bcoz shes Girl.. thats so unfair

it was gender bias when Deepali and Puja were voted off. Ankita got voted off because she couldn't sing anything other than item numbers.

Saying that Ankita got voted out because she was a girl is as dumb as saying that Chang got voted out for being chinese. The girl couldn't sing, Emon can. Get over it.

It's too bad...that Emon might lose out this week to all the Amit conditioning that we have had...don't get me wrong here...I love Amit's singing...I just don't like the brainwashing that Sony is upto...
And if I really have to believe Sony...we are looking for a singer who has it all...and to me it's Emon...

I disagree. If a girl had to become II, it had to be Deepali. She was a great singer and could perform.

yeah...if it had to be girl then it had to be Deepali...

Yeah. I like Amit, but I feel like the judges over rate him and under rate Emon. I don't know if this is just them or if it's Sony. But if it's Sony, then I say that Indian Idol just doesn't deserve a wonderful singer like Emon!
