Is it ethical for a judge to WALK OUT?

Aren't these judges bound to some contract to be on the show till it ends. I mean, I empathize with Alisha, but can she just threaten to walk out like this. Alka Yagnik also threatened to do the same on Star VOI, but then she came back last week and was apparently away for some shows in the States. So, again, I am wondering why these judges (who are being payed for the show unlike the contestants) are staging such dramatic exits!

And if they for instance they can just walk out, then can a contestant also follow that example tomorrow and stage a walk out? I don't know, but I doubt it works that way. What do you guys think?

I think it is unfair for a judge to say she is going to walk out. I mean that just demoralizes the contestants. I mean it is understable that she liked Chang and he was her favorite, but to threaten to walkout because he got eliminated that is a little hard to digest. What about the other contestants? All the contestants are going through so much, Emon was emotional when Deepali left, Ankita is being told she is not good enough, Prashant is facing so many allegations, but they can't just walk out. So, why should a jugde be allowed to--that is, if she is being allowed to.

Actually, I am pretty sure she can't. But I find it unethical that she is even talking about walking out. When you make a committment for a show, then you have to stick by the rules, you can't just throw a media tantrum halfway and pretend you are leaving--isn't that a violation of the contractual rules?

yea i dunt think dey shud b allowed. Alisha mite hav jus sed dat at the heat of the moment liek Emon did when Deepali got eliminated. But den if she mentioned it in the interview...she must b serius. I dunt think she walked out jus cuz of Chang's elimination. She was unhappy wid the voting system and after asking the producers to change the format "dey refused to budge" so she made dis decision. I also dun think the contestants or judese r bound to any contract dat forces dem to b on the show. The contestants r der cuz dey want to b. Dis was prolly all dun for drama, TRP's n to add excitement in the show

i dont think there is a question of ethics here....i mean there isnt a major
moral issue to be debating (especially if the judge is alisha with her "not-
so-sensible" comments 😆)

but i also dont think that she actually quit...its just all drama so they can
pull viewers in for 2mrws gala

it would be silly of her to quit - she knew the format of the show b she
signed the contract so why oppose it now!! 😕 😕

Exactly my point! She knew all this would happen and that it was based completley on public voting so why cry foul now? Any case, I really don't respect all this nautanki, and judges have a responsibility of not creating mindless drama. I mean this show is TWO SEASONS OLD, so it is not like Alisha has absolutely no idea what it was about. Fine, she can be upset Chang left but please lady don't get so melodramatic.

I guess I am not that worried, and honestly Alisha is not that big of deal for me. I just brought it up because I am tired of same thing happenign in every show--before it was Alka is Star VOI and now Alisha. Have you also noticed that these female judges get more influenced by voting patterns etc. at least in both these cases that applies.

All these TRP gimmicks are included in contract. How can you expect ethics from these people? They are the SHAAN of bollywood. We know the reality behind the scenes.
