A sincere request to the moderators to close character bashing topics. I don't think any contestant be it Ankita, Emon, Amit, Prashant, Chang or even the ones that have left should be criticized based on their personal lives or characters. This is a singing contest, let's stick to singing.

i agree too
its always disappointing to come here and see the contestants being bashed instead of their singing analyzed or healthy discussion regarding their SINGING
no wonder the good singers are being voted out...if people are going to analyze/criticize them based on values/characteristics other than singing, then they are not paying attention to the singing

i respect and appreciate the fact that people want to express their feelings about certain things or certain contestants and when they want to have a healthy discussion/debate. Unfortunately most of the time these threads just end up in people fighting and sometimes they even end up personally attacking other members of IF or the contestants of indian idol. it starts off as an attempt to just have a discussion but the end result is never a good one

Yes been there done that. Hopefully, if the threads are cleaned up (one of my posts is getting cleaned up now) by the moderators then such topics can remain healthy and continue. We can all express our opinions, as long as we do not personally attack each other or get abusive.
