Prashant and Chang have a LOT of regional support. Nepalese and Chinese people vote for them, and also people from Darjeeling and Dhanbad vote for them. Being just Indian might affect the other 5 since their votes will be highly divided. Bengali votes will be divided between Puja, Emon and Amit.
Deepali and Ankita do not have crazy fans, making their chances a little dull as well. If two boys hailed from Kanpur and Patna, the voting might have been more. Being conservative places, these cities tend to not give enough importance to girls, hindering the chances for Deepali and Ankita.
I think it hardly matters how they perform in particular galas. People who have decided that XYZ is their favorite, they vote for them irrespective of the performance.
And since when have deserving contestants won reality competitions? But I doubt that Prashant/Chang will win this competition unless they are the Top 2. But if Prashant/Chang and Emon/Deepali/Puja make it to the top 2, the votes will be divided. I don't think the regional voting will be able to outweigh the rest of the country who will support true talent. But then, we have S.Acharya's case in front us, so it is almost futile to say/judge anything about these reality shows. They are a wonderful way for channels to earn money, but otherwise it is BULLSH*T in the purest form. 🤢
