You just cant compare the two programs as SAREGAMAPA is all about singing and INDIAN IDOL is all about a performer.
So SAREGAMAPA ought to have good singers otherwise gr8 personalities who had come as judges like Asha Ji would have thrown them out.
On the other hand INDIAN IDOL looks for a performer so singing is not the only creteria they look for.

saregama singers r best than II3 singers. only AMIT can challlenge saregama singers.

Amit is much better singer than any SRGM singer!!!

Though SRGM has better format and singing is more appreciated. II is total noutanki 😆

But II3, prashant has good voice, Emon is a good singer.

Rest are so so.. Ankita can only dance but her singing is pathetic. In SRGM the pakistani singers are mostly folk so the best singers are Harpreet, Raja, Junaid and the girl from US.

But Amit, Emon and Prashant are better than SRGM singers.

Srgm singers like Mussarat,Amanat, Raja and Junaid are just WOW.
From II Amit nd Parleen is good too.

I honestly think that comparing the talent on Sa Re Ga Ma Pa to Indian Idol...is not fair @ all. No1 in Indian Idol besides Amey and Karunya can ever live up to the singing in SRGMP 😉

ofcourse SAREGAMAPA rockssssss.and u cant compare a show dats running 4m 13 yrs,with II,which started 3 yrs back.but as far as IF is conserned,this II section is simply amazinggggggggggg 👏 👏 👏

I think SRGMP 2007 wins hands down in all measures except for stage colors...I mean I like II but just for fun...but srgmp is serious...for real talent and awesome singing...prashant,parleen,emon are good but amanat,mussarat,junaid,raja,harpreet,aneek...are just fabulous...they have a separate identity which rocks...but II is good too...Its relly gud for fun
