What does Anu Malik think he is??... If you have a look at his past works there is no way you can compare his Music Directing to Udit Narayan's Singing. Udit is a legend and for me he is one of the best singers ever in the history of Indian Music and Indian Cinema.

I think this less respect is also to do with where he is from, since he originates from Nepal.

Me being a Nepali feel very offended by the way Udit is treated by his fellow judge, Anu Malik.

I know how much Udit Narayan has struggled in Nepal and he worked as a Radio Jokey in Nepal News Radio Station before. He also used to live in my uncles house for a couple of years in a small room not being able to pay the full rent in time.

So he is a man who I believe should get much more respect for his work as well as his effort through the struggles he has faced in his life.

For me Udit Narayan is a true legend and is certainly MUCH higher in status than Mr.Anu Malik, even though Anu Malik is a decent Music Director and a good straight forward Judge.

Hope to see more respect given to Mr. Udit Narayan Jha.

No I don't think its the nepali connection. Udit Narayan lost his credibility in the music industry after his wife fiasco & hasn't been able to get a good break yet. So he's going through a lean phase & doesn't feel confident enough to voice his opinion. anu makes fun of him bcos he knows udit won't fight back like alisha. unlike udit, anu has got an inflated opinion of himself and promotes himself all the time.

I dun think its because he lost his credibility its because he is a simple caring person and doesn't want to fight n stoop to anu's level...and he lets his work talk instead of rambling stuff that anu is always doin...Udit has got a hit song already so i dun think hes lookin for a break or work, they come to him...remember the hit song partner parleen and the boyz sang?
