When he was born he didn't quite cry
like the other babies did
Of his off key wail, tho' the parents tried,
they just couldn't get rid
When in school he was often caught
drumming on his desk
The percussion was fine, its the singing along
which they found totally grotesque
Years went by and he turned out
to be a musician of some repute
But he was under the false impression that
his singing made him cute!
And recently when questioned about his singing style
at a press con in Kuala Lumpur
He confessed he didn't care about the seven notes
Afterall he is the father of the aathwaan Sur!
