I have nothing against Ankita, but frankly I thought she was the worst singer today and the judges were not fair. She was so out of tune but still no bad comments from any judge only praise. Emon is said to be overconfident but totally unfair, Ankita was more overconfident but they don't say anything. Last week Anu Malik told Parleen to concentrate more on singing instead of performance and today Ankita slipped from the stool and went out of tune and still he praises her,wow this is really the worst case of favourotism I have seen ever on indian idol. Looks like they want Ankita to become indian idol while Poja is a much better singer among the girls.

well then its the judges fault for overlooking that and being biased . whats that got to do with Ankita, she did what she does best , perform to her best.
The thing which works against Emon and Parleen maybe is that they are forced to perform, in the sense that they arent natural whereas for ankita , its something which comes naturally so its enjoyable.
when Emon performs, it seems forced and hence not enjoyable and when u dont enjoy u start concentrating on the singing or the intricate things and find flaws.
when u go to a concert or a show and u see someone enjoying themselves and singing better, not the best neither worse like complete besura, u do focus on the enjoyable performance factor.
performance doesnt mean dancing around, it means something which u do naturally and comes from ur heart and enjoy doing it. The 1st gala had prashant sing a very soft number "yeh hosla" , yet it touched ur soul coz u felt he was performing form his heart an it it showed.
I couldnt say the same abt Parleen last time, he tried but it looked forced to me.
yes singing wise she needs to improve, the others barring one or two are better than her but she isnt completely besura either.
overall , u need to balance the two which she seems to be doing.
Richa had good knowledge in singing but is it enjoyable , NO
Smitha is excellent as a singer but is there a connection and enjoyment, NO
Prashant , not trained yet his singing touches ur soul coz u can see he is singing from his heart.
conclusion : balance the both.
what defines over-confidence , what may seem confident may not go well with others. If performing bindaas on stage and getting carried away in it is over-confidence , I disagree. If while performing, u become careless and try to do something which u dont do naturally or which isnt you then its over-confidence.
Last time what Javed ji said was that Emon over performed, its nothing to do with over-confidence. All he said was he did more than what is required for that particular song.
