I think that it was uncalled for when looking back on Anu Malek's comment but I agree with Alisha in the sense that she needs a makeover. Not to sound rude, but this is national television. In fact, people all around the world are watching her. She really needs to get some skin treatment, maybe cut her hair and style it, get some contacts, etc. She'll get more votes and she'll definitly fee better as a performer. Also, I saw her audition and she sang "Aisa Jadoo Dala Re" not this other song she's mentioning 😕

They all are supposed to get a makeover in the galas. Till then, one can just hope that the janta votes for talent. I know, its not going to happen, still, I'm trying to be optimistic.😕

BTW, half the time the stuff in newspapers is wrong. The channel wants controversy, they showed Priyanka's outburst against the boys, if Smita had really so dramatically vowed revenge, you think they wouldn't have showed it? Who knows what she said and what Udit said. They just want to make up juicy gossip.

Anu was really rude to her by saying that her look was depressing. He should not pin point at anyone, cos everbody knows what kind of character he has.... where women are concerned. 🤢

I hope whatever happens Smita is recognised by some good music director and gets a nice break. I have no faith in Sony.... cos the deserving singers don't win but this is a platform where talent should be noticed. 😛

Sour grapes? This 24-year old Kolkata girl was subject to Annu's caustic comments during her audition round in her hometown, but managed to scrape through into the final 28. Annu had humiliated her then, by telling her she had a depressing personality. When Friday's upcoming episode was being shot yesterday, Smita learnt that she was trailing behind and securing fewer votes. Sources say that Smita strongly believes that if Annu hadn't shot his mouth off, India would have been voting for her much more than what it is now. "She feels that Annu brought her average looks so much to the fore that the public sat up and took notice," says the source close to Sony.

Why doesn't she remember the line AM said after the 'depressing personality' one? He did say that her singing could remove anyone's depression or something like that!
And does the public blindly follow what AM says?? 😕

yaa..oopppsiee dooopsiee...she has a point..but i mean..putting it out like this..is just gonna make it worst for her!..which sucks..cuz she is a pretty good singer!..lekin "depressing personality" is just OUCHH!..i'd b pretty pissed too if someone told me that..lol..

after today's encore performance where all the judges gave her a standing ovation there shouldn't be any question about looks and personality 👏

if janta takes her there then her contact lens will go, hair style will change and she will stand straight..She has the qualities , I just wish audience notice them too 😕 and vote for her.....She is a gem as Javed saab said.. 👏 😃
