I was just wondering how previous indian idols are doing overall. I hear about the Abhijeet time and again in news about his stage performances only and i wonder if he has got any break with bollywood movies. I have not heard anything about Sandeep Acharya after his album was released.

Can you name the movie for me please. Was it a hit song anyway and did he get the chance to sing properly, i mean not in chorus or just a few lines.

Yh its true tht Abhijeet has done a few songs in Bollywood but i cnt remember them 😕 They were quite nice osngs because i remember saying tht 'OMG this is by Abhijeet'

It seems that II hasn't been able to launch singers in a big way...some get a song here and there in a film, but beyond that nothing much....but almost all the finalists do perform in shows all over...and tht must be earning them handsomly...so i guess they are doing ok..for themselves...

But the runner ups are doing fine i think than the winners. Karunya, the runner up in indian idol 2 sang more than a couple of songs in bollywood and tollywood.
