II3 like all music shows undeniably is about ability to sing, an ability to perform, an ability to express one's skill and personality through one's behavior and voice. For those among us who live in a fool's paradise thinking that such competitions are only about vocal excellence, Richa came as a bundle of talent and potential. Her attitude towards her peers and her mannerisms which were pretentious to say the least could also be ignored by those who vote good music to be the most important aspect of all.
However, today, even that was felt wanting in several respects. Her choice of song was certainly not appropriate for her kind of voice. Her mannerisms were unimpressive. Even her "harkatein" which she otherwise uses too much sometimes were totally lacking where there was scope. Perhaps without a mike she can sing well but whenever she has performed with it, she has sung below standards. 😒
In summary, even if we ignore other faults of hers, today she has disappointed with her biggest "brahmastra" ie SUR.😡
