If any aspiring singers who r in their teens( sp the 14s, 15s and 16s ones) want to participate in Indian Idol in coming years , they will be definitely benefitted by ur post 😃 ....

The rejection part , like taking into the room and telling them they r not thru can be understood but what amazed me is how these producers sqeeze in money from these paricipants before the auditions just to let them know that they will be called 😕

So 5 rupees for the call to know whether u r short listed or not ....but u do have to pay everytime ur dialing to increase ur chance of being shortlisted, right??? and also before that ????....

what happens , if anybody is really poor and doesn't have any Godfather ???? some parents might pay with much difficulties but it is such a money making machine yaar....

I mean , I know I'll hear some real talented singers but so many more will not be heard too ...

What u say is true...Sony and all other channels who fleece people in the name of shortlisting should be taken to court......how can the poor then dream of making it to the II auditions even!!

First they squeeze money from the 'participants' and then the 'audience'....😆

By reading your experience what i analyze is that for the 'channel' i.e Sony the show is only money making machine.😕

They should at least give fair chance in the auditions.

I'm sure most of the rejected contestants in the past (II 1 N II 2) would have had an experience similar to Vijay and maybe that the reason they don't try in the next seasons.

'Maybe' they can even go to the extent of saying that the poor shouldn't dream then.

We have some journalists on India-Forums maybe someone catches this post of Vijay's and 'the real reality of a reality show' is exposed.😉😛

Indian Idol is the worst of all reality shows. It is in fact,not a reality show at all. Its a totally scripted,fake 'reality' show.

To summarise,Indian Idol SUCKS.
