IMP:Read regarding Fan Clubs/Game Threads - Page 3

o thnx 4 informing us.. i was hoping atleast we cud have II 3 fanclubs?

The development team of Indian Idol is doing a fabulous job and I am sure they will continue to do it👏. Since this topic is made a sticky, I assume that as a member I can post my views on it too.

It is a good idea to move all the previous fan clubs and games to CFC to make way for II-3 discussions but in my opinion it would be nice if FCs is allowed for II-3 participants.

1. The solution to keep healthy discussions going on and continue with FCs is that one member from each fan club could help moderators/viewbies in keeping it chat free and digressing.

2. FCs should only talk about their idol and not discuss about other members or moderators or any other topic. If there is digressing then any member can PM or report moderator and a warning should be posted immediately. After 3 warnings the FC should be closed.

I am sure that with stricter rules we can continue to have FCs and good discussions on the forum. I would like to request the Moderators/viewbies to reconsider the decision. But if they still think that it is not a viable then I understand. 😊 Can't wait for II3 to start.

I spoke to a GM about this, whether we can reconsider the decision to have FC's here.

But sorry friends, It seems that if we change the rule for this section rest of the sections will demand to have Fan Clubs in sections too.

You all would have noticed that individual sections no longer have fan clubs for the cast of the shows.

Also, if we start allowing FC's in sections, then we don't achieve what we wanted by creating the Fan Clubs Section.

So friends, im sorry but we cannot have FC's here.

But as told earlier, I will make a sticky with links to FC's in FC Section, so you all can go to Fan Clubs through II.

I'm sorry, but rules need to be same for everyone thats why we cant do anything either.

Yeah i know, but we are trying to bring them all to a stop in sections to make the most CFC Section.

Its ok to move all prev FCs to celebrity section as now people stop visitng there as II-3 gonna happen...but the idea of not allowing FCs is not good idea...U know if not FC the fans like 100s of topics to tell their view & in that way not much topic gets attention & discussion loss there...IN SRGMP section when SRGMp happened when u create a topci there within 5-10 minutes u can see that topic in 4th or 5th page...In that way mods having mroe tough time to look all those topics...If there is FC people who support him/her unite & discuss their view each day there...😛

We created FC with 150 pages to avoid heavy traffic in FC rt? I mean if more pages it makes section slow...Maximum 10-12 FCs gonna run in II-2 section & It will make mods job easy too...Also Fans can just promote their contestants there & do all promotional things there...If not FCs u can see each week many threads telling to vote for him/her & many wont even get noticed too..😃

SRGMP section were called as more clean by moving all FCs & all...but each day am seeing all music related articles there😕...Even movie related things too...Rakhi/Mallika Articles also were seen there so does Abhi/ASH too... 😕Still I go to SRGMP section to get all Bollywood gossips😉😆😆


Anyways am not here to argue or prove anything just said my view😛...

Still I welcome this idea becoz of some selfish reasons😆

I've read similar news in Antara Fanclub as well.
Music related articles and posts are always posted in that forum, regardless of whether the show is on the air or not. Anyway, SRGMP is about music so the articles are related.

Thanks. That is so sweet of development team to give this a thought. Any decision is fine with me but in case you guys plan to allow fan clubs then as members I am sure most of us will keep an eye on FCs from digressing. The main criterion should be discussion about the particular contestant.

We are sorry to disappoint you all, but unfortunately we can not keep fanclubs on this section, old or new.

This is an India-Forums' rule and we will have to follow it.

As for the games, we will let you know about those later on, for now all the games will be moved to Chat Clubs section. New games are under consideration.

We hope you understand, we tried but that is all we can do.

We had a discussion regarding this in the Mods Section.
And its decided that NO More Fan Clubs in any individual Sections.

And those currently in the sections will be moved to CFC very shortly.

And since II is starting with two days we are moving the FC's here today.

I will be closing this post and opening a thread with links to all FC's.
