me back in Action....going movies on the first day first show !!
Yesterday, it was release of umrao Jaan - the most awaited movie of this quarter.....and it was greeted warm by the audience.....
As far as movie is concerend, I guess it is a bit lengthy....film could have been better had the editor done his job flawless. Throughout the movie, you would realize that the pace is pathetic....yup...literally pathetic.....script is not so tight to keep you glued to the screen and ppl would go in and out every now n then.......
Music is awesome (but that doesnt mean you are allowed to include unnecessary songs!!😉) and the movie could still be better if one or two songs be deleted from it....they could easily be added in the audio but in the already lengthy movie, it is doing nothing good!! And I'm waiitng for the backdrop news - from where, Anu Malik is inspired this time as music is really soothing.
Now performances - believe me, except few scenes, Aishwarya is at her best !! 👏👏 this will be remembered as one of her remarkable movies....she said in an interview that it was an emotional journey to perform Umrao Jaan and its very true.....her dance numbers suggest that she did hardwork and at few places, her dialogue delivery is not so good - rest, it was a pleasure to see her doing job with such an ease....
Abhisek - humm....this guy is growing with each passing day in his variety and skills..and most importantly, his confidence......not absolutely perfect but still, he did his job with utmost care and its just his confidence and baritone that make him look like a Nawab of Lucknow.....
The onscreen chemistry of Aish-Abhisek is just superb and no wonder if in the coming months, we ge the news that they are settling in life - goodluck duo !! they both compliment each other so amazingly....and for the first time, I saw aish feeling secure and performing absolutely carefree !!
all in all, apart form the pace of the movie, it is a must see....fans of both aish and abhisek will surely go no matter how slow is the script but it wont fetch much of the audience.....
the only good thing is - the nation is full of Aish and Abhisek's fan.....so all in all, it will be a hit !!!
and if you love to see good movie, dont miss it......but bear the pace !!
It is a clean and very subtle movie !!
