I think we humans are born singers and more or less everyone can sing.😆 Some people are only bathroom singers. Other just enjoy singing and music. Even in animal kingdom birds, dolphins and whales can also sing in rhythm.

I don't think Mods will have any issues with such a thread where member can post their uploaded youtube videos.

I usually sing gurbani only. My wife is a great singer and she sings punjabi folk and gurbani. She learnt classical gurbani in rags. I can play tabla and harmonium. Sometimes we sing duet hindi film songs at family functions and receptions but never uploaded anything on youtube.

I meant start a thread that's all lol. And if u have additional rules for the competition state them there. Also message a mod to see if u can get it on one of the big announcement boards so members of other forums can see it.

2. Announcement of the event and promote as many participants as possible.
3. Select able panel of jury
4. Formulate some rules administered by the jury and accepted by participants
5. Technical assistance that some singers may need on how to record, post, edit etc.
6. Support of as many members as possible.

Have I forgotten anything? Let us use this thread to articulate the event strategy.
