Its nice to here one of our IF member cutiepierani's voice😃 she has really very sweet voice... jus for curiosity are there any other members here who can sing or who r learning music???

iam even thinking abt to ask MODS if it is possible to open an online singing contest here, where we can record our songs and post them

Yes I think it's a great idea!!

I sing too. Well not so much since pretty long but when i was a child I learnt carnatic music which is south indian classical music and so I do sing.

I love music.

Yea and we could have IF Idol and vote :). I been playing clarinet for 8 years but am trained in western scale.

I think we humans are born singers and more or less everyone can sing.😆 Some people are only bathroom singers. Other just enjoy singing and music. Even in animal kingdom birds, dolphins and whales can also sing in rhythm.

I don't think Mods will have any issues with such a thread where member can post their uploaded youtube videos.

I usually sing gurbani only. My wife is a great singer and she sings punjabi folk and gurbani. She learnt classical gurbani in rags. I can play tabla and harmonium. Sometimes we sing duet hindi film songs at family functions and receptions but never uploaded anything on youtube.

Nice to knowabt u lotus ji..😃 wow u learnt carnatic music!!! till how much did u learn in that music?? iam also learning it and also teaching ..so iam a student/teacher😃

@Hope20,ksl0077..no problem whether u r a bathroom singer or car singer...we jus want to know whether u can also able to sing or not..kya pata agar yeh contest shuru hoga tho aap dono hi jeet jaaye ;)
