I just saw the promos for this week of Indian Idol and could someone explain to me why everyone is singing hardcore classical songs EXCEPT for Poorvi? Just because she is "western singer' she is given an exception? How is that fair? Thats just stupid and why do the judges tremble at the thought of giving her a bad comment? Is she the producers daugher or something? She better be eliminated this week otherwise this show is really stupid.

For the promos they always show someone else's compliment for someone else. When we find out when the show airs its not the case. Dont worry, I am sure the judges will tell her

she doesn't needs training. everyone in bollywood have a unique playback voice which poorvi too has. why should she change herself. even kishoreda was scared to sing classical songs. he was not trained in classical songs yet he was a super playback singer. it's not necessary that a person not trained in classical cannot be a world class playback singer.

I completely agree. They themselves say that the IDOL is supposed to be an allrounder singer and how come Purvi gets this special treatment. Just because her mom was given a chnace to sing, I AM QUITE SURE THAT SHE IS KNOWN TO THE PRODUCER...
