I think by now we all know that everyone was excited to hear poorvi's song today. Whether you like her or not. I know the anticipation was there to hear her sing Aao Na. So the question is what kind of justice has she done to the song????

Personal opinion now I give her so much credit for trying. But she didn't live up to what I was hoping for. And considering this is one of my very favorite song I payed very close attention to everything. First of all most of her words were sang with her westernized accent like ashaji said. And second thing is her last line where she sang "aao na" I felt like she was totally out of sur. But like I said I give her so much credit for at least trying because not everyone has the guts to even try.

it was a decent and brave attempt. Only an attempt.

Good or bad attempt is for people to decide.

I agree it was an attempt and I am not going to lie I have to judge her on it. and she didn't live up to the expections.

I don't understand why the judges seem to be obsessed with her, she sang in a lower range and that is fine but it's like they are afraid to tell her it was flat at parts...it was pretty bad.

Will have to watch epi to comment. But yeah in a way, Poori is like the Shakira of Indian idol, hence perhaps why judges like her.

She sang in such a low tone even then judges were saying they liked her performance. But I seriously didnt like her singing at all today.

poorvi is the best singer of this season's indian idol and it was proved yesterday and if u people think she coudn't sing yesterday's song then i think u have to learn classical music all over again. and i was utterly surprised by what asha tai said. i have lost all respects for her after yesterday's episode. it was a pure classical singing from where are u guys getting western flavour. i think u didn't hear what salim said that poorvi u shd stick to ur comfort zone of western style singing. that means poorvi was singing eastern style because salim is a music director and he knows that tone of voice more than asha tai as she is a singer.

are you kidding me you lost respect for someone for stating that opinion? And keep in my criticism is what takes someone far. And I as far as I am concerned I know music enough to be able to voice my opinion.

i am not telling u guys that she doesn't have a western accent. but in yesterday's episode her tone was fully indian there was nothing of western tone. infact i hoped she would add a bit of western flavour to that song so that it will sound nice. and don't forget even kishore kumar could not sing slow classical songs. that doesn't means he was not a good singer.
