Bollywood's the way to go

Monali Thakur, who was among the top 10 Indian Idol 2 finalists, was recently spotted at the premiere of Ghoom. She told us she was there with music composer "Pritamda". So what's she up to? "I was in London recently performing at the Royal Albert Hall. I went with Sonu Nigamji who asked me if I wanted to accompany him there for a performance.
Meenal Jain (another Idol 2 finalist) was with me and I sang Chithiye, a song of Lata Mangeshkarji from the film Heena. There was Abeeda Parveen and Fuzon who performed there with us." Monali also got a chance to sing for Anu Malik for Jaaneman. "Gulzarsaab has written its lyrics and he complimented saying, 'Aap bahut aage tak jaaogi'. It was fun recording that number which had me, Prajakta Shukre, Amit Sana and Rahul Vaidya, all Indian Idol singers. We sang that number with Udit Narayanji." Meanwhile, Monali is all set to record two albums "a Bengali album with HMV and hip-hop Hindi album."
