Hopefully I won't make this an everyday thing but it's just that you notice so much as you start getting hooked on to something.

From the second episode there are not too many things

1st not sure if anyone knows but diwakar sharma I believe was in part of saregamapa lil champs like 6 or 7 years ago.

2nd only other thing I noticed is lot more people seem to be getting the ticket to mumbai comparing to past years

Great singing from some of the entrants from the second episode especially DEEPAK MAHER, he was very very very special. Such effortless and natural voice with a mesmerizing performance, joyful singing.

Among the others Geetha Bharadwaj and Krutika from Himachal were fabulous and Renu nagar, boy what a voice!!. Irfan Khan was great, but don't think he will advance further. This might not be the platform for his divine talent just like Amit Kumar of the first episode. Shashi Kiran was good but still need to listen more from him to form a strong opinion. Asees kaur & Diwakar were promising but weaker than the others mentioned above.

One important and irritating thing is Sony didn't show the auditions of all the selected contestants, so missed many hidden gems who could surprise or disappoint in the next round.

Among the judges I think Sunidhi(❤️) is doing a better job than Anu & Salim in selecting the hopefuls.

Hope to hear some classics from the golden era(1950 to 70) in the coming episodes

Deepak Maher was amazing, he came back after 5 years and it seems that he has really worked very hard to improve his singing. When Mr. Malik asked him if he had gone through any professional training, he replied that he had learnt the guitar and also practised vocal music.
Although Salim Merchant was very impressed with his singing talent, lets see how far he will go without professional classical vocal training of traditional raags because nobody can succeed in playback singing without classical base in today's competitive film industry. Yes he can make living doing some live stage show. I don't know if thats what he wants to do. In my opinion he was off focussing on his education in these five years. He should have gone for his MBA, Law or Engineering degree. There are lots of educational institutes in dehra dun. I don't know why these kids want to waste their time and energy. I guess every second kids wants to become a singer in India now a days. Sometimes I feel that these reality musical shows are spoiling our young generation. Sony tv, judges, anchors and creatives are there to make money. They are least interested in raw talent. So many music directors appear on show and promise them a break through which never happens. They forget and break their promises afer the show has ended. Its like "Raat gayee baat gayee scenario." LOL
On the other hand Amit Kumar is a trained singer with strong and unique voice texture who has great chance to become a professional singer. Good luck all.
