Elliott Yamin is out 😭

Simon predicted Elliott would be the one to go. I voted for both Elliott and Katharine last night. Wanted them as the top two.

Voting breakdown was:

33.68%
33.26%
33.06%

Ryan didn't disclose who received the most votes but I'm guessing it was Taylor since he received the best comments from the judges last night, including his last performance, 'Try a little tenderness'. He won accolades from all three judges unlike both Elliott and Katharine.

Ace Young and Kellie Pickler were also in attendence. Ryan asked if there was something 'going on between the two'. Ace shook his head and laughed.

At the end, they showed Elliott's journey. Ryan didn't say sorry but congratulated him on making it to the top three. Elliott cried earlier when they showed his hometown visit (Virginia) but I didn't notice any tears after he was voted out.

Tuesday highlights

Simon called Taylor's 'you are so beautiful' performance his best so far on Tuesday night. Randy called Katharine's 'Somewhere over the rainbow' the best performance of the season. Elliott received good comments from Paula, she said he has a lot of 'soul', good voice for R&B songs. Randy and Simon generally weren't happy with his song selection. After Elliott's last performance, Simon predicted he'd be the one to leave, mainly because of his song selection.

First song was selected by Clive Davis
Second song by the judges (Paula-Elliott, Simon-Katharine, Randy-Taylor)
Third song was contestant's choice


So the top two are Taylor and Katharine and the finals will be next week!

seriously taylor doesnt deserve to be in the grand finale...i mean i lyk him but america needs someone better.....

i m hating elliott left 😭 .He is such a soulful guy .I just adore him.Simon is very influential with the votes i believe.His comments make a lot of difference in long and short term both.

last night i voted 15 times for taylor, but it took me 15 minutes cause voting lines were busy

and i gave 1 vote to katherine 😆

elliot is very good and did very good last night but i think taylor or katherine are more desrving for the title

my favorite was chris but he is out, and next best i think is taylor

The singers are good. Katharine has everything. Taylor is very energetic. But still, I think that Mandisa, Paris and some others left a bit early.

Not a big fan of Elliot anyway.....but seriously I wish Chris was there in Taylor's place....

i feel kathy deserved to go becoz shes been higly
inconsistent. whereas eliiot has evolved over the show.
Im sure athough hes out hes got this amazing voice and depth.... which will help him 2 launch his career
