While this is what the two have to say, Rahul has something different to offer. "This show is full of surprises, so anticipation plays no role here. I guess the winning of a contestant is totally dependent on luck. Even though Sandeep won the competition, I was confident about it as I was aware of the voting system! Vote out the vote? All three stick to the voting pattern and don't mind compromising on talent! "If we avoid the involvement of the public on our show, the show will not recieve the kind of popularity it has till date," says a confident Abhijeet. Rahul Vaidya Amit and Rahul both agree. Sawant adds, "Same happened in the case of Debojit too. Sa Re Ga Ma works n the decision of the judges, but what happens there? None of the winners earn the kind of recognition we do or any other talent hunt show which involves voting." Amit adds, "We have to compromise somewhere or the other, if we want one thing, have to lose out on the other." Rahul says, "Well, judges' decision justifies the talent, but then we lose out on the popularity!"

Wow Karuyna had all the Pros wanting him to win. In a way a contest like Indian Idol is a flop show. I mean even though you're praised by all the judges that still doesn't guarantee you the win. Even Abhijeet says that there was a lot of regional voting going on. That's not fair to any of the particpants.

But its nice to see that all these guys supported Karuyna. Thanks for sharing!

BUT GUYS & GALS,

one thing you all are forgetting.... Its this SAME show that has bought talent like SANDEEP, KARUNYA, AMEY , PANNA in front of us.

So wat if the result is not wat we wanted? so wat if our favorite didnot win this title?

I am sure this platform has really helped the young talent like these singers to showcase. They will zooom forward with in a short span..

I am sure all you guys know that shreya goshal & Amey have participated in saregamapa before? But do you know that they both were in that show almost 10 yrs ago, shreya participated in it for almost 5 times before she got any recognition.
Wat about amey? does any of us remember him then?

Look at the shows now.. most of the FG & II 1 participants have got break in films or they already released albums.

Do you remmeber Ravinder ravi? can you guess wat he used to earn before he became INDIAN IDOL contestant? Do you know now that he owns A flat in mumbai & he released an album already. He performs in concerts in maldives, Delhi & cuts ribbons to open music shops. he is a big time celebrity in PUNJAB.

All this was possible with this show.

Iam sure Abhijit, RAHUl & AMIT sana, do say that KARUNYA is their favorite, but last year same thing was said about AMIT SANA too. LOT of celebrities rooted for him to win the title. That didnot happen, but still AMIT SANA is a popular singer now. Got 10-20 songs on his name with 1 or 2 albums already floating in the music industry.

SO PLEASE STOP BASHING poor sandy. He is not to be blamed. He too came to bottom 3 few times, he won at the crucial time, just becose his fans supported him at the right time....

SANDEEP is INDIAN IDOL now, so is ABHIJEET SAWANT. But that doesnt mean that KARUNYA, AMEY, PANNA, RAHUL VAIDYA, AMIT SANA are no less than them. They all will/have prooved it time and again that talent can be in many forms..

So please stop doing postmortem of this & make this forum a bad place to be..

Lets all drink & applaud to the success of SANDEEP today, and maybe in very short time for KARUNYA, AMEY, PANNA too...👏

i heard that they all are busy with the work to do albums now..

Well, like i have said before, my choice after Amey was always Karunya, and i also think that he should have won. I admit he is a better singer then Sandeep. BUT that doesn't mean Sandeep doesn't deserve it. He is also a very good singer, a little weaker then Karunya, but he sings well enough to take the title of Indian Idol. The decision was a little unfair, i agree too, but I wouldn't blame Sandeep. Karunya's good abiltly of singing with definetly take him a long way.
