Abhijeet Sawant is not a bad singer but today's performance was definitely not upto par. His choice of song was wrong it didn't suit his voice at all.

When he was singing on the same Indian Idol stage and the next Indian Idol is about to be announced - this was his moment of glory and he should have tried to sing a good song so people would feel that the first Indian Idol is still the best. Instead after a poor performance it felt like anybody can become II.

Personally I have nothing against Abhi - I think he is a pretty good singer but just messed up today.

true....he just messed up today..i like him too.....i love his songs....but today was just not his day

after that performance by abhi, i cna no longer say that sandeep didn't deserve the title. now i think sandeep is actually fine as per the standerds of indian idol (IMO not better than abhi though) i think karu was just way above indian idol, practically overqualified 😛 .
well perhaps it juz wasn't abhi's day but he shud'v stopped at certain parts of the song where he knew he was choking...continuing to sing juz made it worse. i havn't seen II1 but abhijeet din seem this terrible in ha few of the other performances of his i watched.

Same here...Abhijeet was horrible at best
The same song Rajeev( from C2005 sang) sang it at the grade finale and it was amazig. I expected Abhijeet to be atleast be a little bit better. The crown of being Indian Idol is not really worth it -- good singers are not getting the returns they deserve.

he wasnt really singing....if abhijeet did the same he wouldve sang better

the guy makes one small mistake..and yall are jumping at him like he committed the biggest crime...jeez...i understand u r mad at sandeep but why pull abhijeet into all this?.....
