wrong challenge song for Sandeep

I think Karunya did a bad choice in challenging Sandeep. He should have challenged him with a classical song similar to "Jhanak Jhanak baje payaliya". Ina mina dika is more like a nursury rhyme with straight note, agreed its a josh song and a fast song.

I blame Karunya for this.

Agree or something that Amey Date had once sung, " Laaga Chunari Mein Daag" ....

Since Sandeep does not have a classical base, it would have exposed him.

😊I don't agree with you completely. Yes, Karu could have given tougher song to Sandy, but Karu is not that unkind to give a classical song to Sandy when he knows his limitation. Yes Sandy concentrated on Challenge song so much he did well in that, but goofed up Rafi saab's and Sonu's songs, going off sur . Ultimately one thing was prooved that while Sandy can carry mostly Udit ji's songs, he can't manage all kinds of tough songs. Only Karu has got the versatality in singing all kinds of songs. Ofcourse this is my pesonal openion. Not intended to hurt any one. Gina.

this is absolutely pathetic!!!just cuz sandy performed n sang the song brilliantly,u r saying that karu gave sandy a wrong song...gimme a break!!i dont think u know this but sandy has not sung any energy filled songs(except 4 jeene ke hai char din)...if u thought that karu gave a wrong song to sandeep,y didnt u say that b4 sandy sang that song..that time many ppl thought that itll be a tough song 4 sandy but now when sandy has proved many ppl wrong,ppl r finding out fault in the choice of song!!i think he performed brilliantly in evry song except 4 the patriotic song...all his other performances like eena meena dika,tu n paan bhara were appreciated by the judges n thats what matters.this is my opinion.. 😊

iina meena dika...a nursery rhyme???r u kidding me??this is a difficult song cuz of its beginning lyrics n u havta go kinda breathless there.it takes a lot of effort to sing that song n win praises of the judges...it is not as easy as it looks. this song requires alot of energy n power which sandeep had!!i think instead of blindly critsizing sandeep is no good...he did really well in that song n itll be good if ppl started appreciating the way he sang that song in such a wonderful n energetic way!!

pls give credit when its due, sandeep sang the song well, dont read too much into things....
eena meena is one of the best ever songs, generation 2 come will also love the szongs, its no nursery rhyme, its a very tough song in terms of lyrics and breath control.

Karu didn't expect Sandy to shine in his challange song- why would he give simple song to Sandy in this cucial juncture!! so it is baseless and as not expected by Karu Sandy did a good job 😆

and I didn't get versatility part !! r u looking for all rounder here ? if u have mastery over every type then you would be called "Sonu Nigam" 😉

I don't agree with you at all....I'm not sure how much you know about music but Eena meena dika is an extremely difficult song to perform and sing. It requires a lot of breath control, and voice modulation and for one it's EXTREMELY famous and a hallmark song of Kishore Kumar (who's probably the most versatile singer India has ever produced!). So for Sandeep to accept that challenge and to carry it off quite well is very brave of him and I think he did a very good job as well. I'm a hard-core Karunya fan but I'm a fan of good music first and yest Sandeep's performance of that song clearly was good music! I still don't think he's as versatile coz he looked uncomfortable with fast numbers and is most comfortable with melodious numbers but I'm glad that he's breaking his mould and trying new things. At least if by any chance he does become II at least I won't be complaining that he never tried to be versatile! Anything can happen now but to me KARUNYA IS and WILL ALWAYS BE THE WINNER!

eena meena is a breath control song and sandeep did a wonderful job 👏 👏 👏 but i would love to hear some old classical song from sandeep

I am sure many of you are going to pounce on me after reading this but in my opinion and opinions do differ, but I actually recorded this performance and listened to it many a times - Sandeep did carry it off well as far as performance is concerned, however as far as singing is concerned, it was a very average performance. He went off sur, forgot words etc. What was surprising was that the judges did not point it out!! Maybe they were too kind yesterday...!!!
