Meenal Jain, one of the finalists of Sony's Indian Idol 2, is now ready to embark on a tour with Sonu Niigaam to London. Jain is scheduled to perform with Sonu around May 12, at the Royal Albert Hall.

"I am really excited about performing with Sonuji, that too at the Albert Hall. It's a very prestigious thing for me," she says. Jain reveals she will be singing her signature number, Lambi judaai, along with a medley of other songs.

After Indian Idol, Meenal has been busy trying her voice at playback singing. "I recently sang a portion of the title track for Ram Gopal Verma's new film, Go. It's also being dubbed in Tamil and Telugu."

Meenal says she was happy with the Idol results, though she hoped Karunya would win. "I like them both. Sandeep has an amazing quality to his voice, that will take him places. Karunya, on the other hand, is a very dear friend."

didnt u hear the promo on tv?I think Sonu's sung it superbly but the composition is a bit stereotyped.The starting line "Aao sunao pyar ki ek kahani" is almost da same as Hosh na khud kahin josh me dekhne wala"....So not much credit to Rajesh ROshan....Sonu has done magic 2 the song 😛
