This is a sad day. One of the top two singers is gone. Amey & Karunya are the best. But, judges can not be blamed. I think that it is public that should be blamed. Remember Kazi won over Rex in the same format of the show. Do not blame Sonu please. Actually anyone who gets scolded by judges, public's sympathy. But, Amey was always praised by judges. We can say that the format like public voting only should be reconsidered as it is not working.

Blaming judges is just finding an easy way out for AMEY being votes out..its the indian janta who votes..

How idiotic can someone get? Please If U dont know much abt singing ,do not take pains to comment on someone's singing.And how can anyone say that Sonu is being partial towards Karunya? All the judges love Karunya's performance .He is flawless . Amey is a great talent ,and Sonu always praises him when he sings well.So people ,come to ur senses.karunya is a great performer and that is why he bags all the compliments.The thing U shud remember is Sonu is a great singer and only one good singer can understand the potential of another great singer .Thats why Karunya is his hot favorite.He is never reluctant to praise Amey also.So get a life n think before U make such lowlife comments.

The very theroy that Sonu is promoting Karu bacause he dosn't think him to be his competitor whereas Amey is, is childish. Whether Karu recedes back to south after winning is a question in itself. People like Shankar Mahadevan, Hariharan, KK are there in Bombay well settled, though they sing randomly in southern films. By making baseless statements, you are opening debates, which may malign Amey. So if you really like Amey, praise him more and keep these kind of imaginative allegations aside.

But Amey's loss today is really a great loss. Yesterday, I was thinking, how it would be if only either Karunya or Amey reach finals (ofcourse, I was afraid Karunya would go out first). Then I felt with whom they would compete. Whether they win or lose, competing with Anuj or Sandeep is competing with unequal competitor. So naturally it would not be interesting for us to watch either. But unfortunately, it was Amey's turn today. Good Luck to him. Definitely, he deserved more. A match between him and KAru would have been worth watching.

If you are saying that judges influence votes by their comments then by that way ANUJ should have been out.

The truth is the junta is responsible and not the judges. That's a ridiculous accusation.

If Anuj was out today would you have blamed the judges for giving negative comments to Anuj?

yep, pl stop blaming sonu, karu...its mainly becoz of voting, i think everyone thought that amey has lotof support and didnt flood him with votes which is very much needed when the gala has only 4 left...

Why did Sonu keep bugging Sandeep to sing something other than Uditji's songs? Why doesn't he point out that Karunya is lackluster when singing slow or romantic songs and is good only for high pitch/qawwali kind of songs by Fateh Ali/Sukhwinder and the sort?

Amey's voice quality is EXACTLY where Sonu's business lies.. he's a competitor.. Karunya is not.. besides sooner or later Karunya will be pulled into the Southern Music Industry leaving no threat to Sonu whatsoever.. so why not just back him all the way.. sounds plausible.

i dont know what you know about Sonu nigam..he came to industry when he was just 16..n struggled..n reached top...he didnt have readymade platforms like SAREGAMAPA or Indian Idol to give him instant n readymade fame! So, please dont compare him with anyone..he is the best SINGER OF THE DEACDE!!!.
