These ratings were done right after the galas. They took several iterations and I might have gone back and forth on some before finalising.

Took into account a lot of technicalities, while at the same time watching out for the soulfulness in the performance.

It is hard for me to provide a comprehensive list of all the things accounted for but here are a few.

-First impressions (what I felt immedietly after a performance, goose bumps, tears, clapping etc.)
-Repeated listenings (did I feel like and listen to the song again and again after it was uploaded on the website)
-Sur
-Taal

👏 perfect scoring except for two.

Amey's Tu Hi Re was definately a 10... all his other scores are fne....

Sandeep should get much lower for papa kehte hain and main yahaan hoon ... super besura in those two....

besides that everything perfect..!

i think amey's tu hi re was one of the best perf on the Indian Idol stage EVER.....it was simply gr8...esp teh improvisations.....

I guess it is a unanimous feeling that 'Tu Hi Re' was mindblowing. I remember even Sonu nigam said amey will be in top 2 after that performance.

Honestly I really like it too, but more so after hearing it a few times.

I did not get the first time wow wow reaction to this one so rated it as flawless... wanted to be true to my feelings.

I appreciate how you all are being honest too.

I am glad that I could strike a fairly balanced score judging by all your responses.

I am commenting only on Amey's and Karunya's scores.

Amey shd get 10 for 'tum jo mil gaye ho' and 'tuhi re'.

Karunya's "Ae meri zohara jabeen" should get 9.

I agree with most of ur marks.

But I think Amey's Tum Jo Mil Gaye Ho, Tu Hi Re and Suno Na deserved a 10! 😃

And Karunya's Ae Meri Zohra Jabee a 9! Thats what i think. Though I really appreciate your marks.
