This is an interesting topic. I am sure no one disagrees that voting should be purely guided by one's understanding of the candidate's ability. One's ability is ,of course, shaped by one's innate talent, and modified by one's diligence, effort, and the X-factor. Considering this, factors 4 and 5 don't figure anywhere.
But, despite a general acceptance of this basic theory, we should be aware that the human mind is not so simple; the sub-conscious is always going to play into one's decision to vote. And, then, there are personal differnces in nature which also shape people's decisions.
A person like me would vote emotionally(fortunately/unfortunately I can't vote from the US);thus, even though I feel that Karunya , Amey, and Antara are superior singers, my tendency would be to vote for Panna or Meenal(she is ,to me, in the same league as the top 3 singers I mentioned + has an innocence/inherent goodness about her, just like Panna).
Then, I also feel sorry for Karunya, because, there are enough people out ther who vote based on regionalism; generally, contestants from South India suffer because of this trend. So, I would probably vote for him over the others. It is just complex.
An intellectually motivated person will have a different way of thinking and so on.
In short, how one should vote and how one does vote are two different things, most of the times.
