Right from begining, after each gala, the judges should give immunity to one contestant based solely on performance for that round only. This will bring down the probability of good singers being voted out. Fame gurukul had immunity also but it was given before the performance and head mistress also saved one contestant based on the past performance or whatsoever...this made the contest unfair sometimes( not always though). I believe if all the three judges put their heads togather, they will come up with fair judgement and it will give them good run for their money.

how can they make a contestant immune when they are so confused? one day they praise a contestant and next day they say that he should be in bottom 3. this has happened with karunya when they said he is simply amazing and the best and then next day anu malik says that he see karunya in bottom 3. same goes for amey. he got heaps of praise and then they say he should be in bottom 3 and farah khan thought sandeep should be in top 3 when all 3 judges agreed that his was the worst performance.

i doubt the credibility of these judges. farah khan doesn't have an iota of knowledge about music.

if this show became extactly like fame gurkul.. then wut will be so diff abt indian idol?
i kno how it feels when good singers leave the show.. but then we cant have 2 shows with exactly the same rules.. it doesnt make sense!
indian idol is suppose to be exactly the same way as american idol, that is y they r following the rules of that show! they cant change the rules at all!
also... i agree that the judges r confused too.. they say something in the gala round, but then something else in the result round! they really need to watch wut they say.. coz i think they make a fool of themselves in the results round by going against everything they said in the gala rounds!

American idol worksfor America because for MOST part of the time , people do not get carried away by emotions. Judges also are pretty fair in their judgement ( errors do occur but rarely). Indian Janata is very sentimental and goes by persons profile and tries to help the underdog. That is just us Indians....even the judges are somewhat biased at times.Hence the idea of immunity! Let the judges fight their heads out. They have to choose one contestant right after the gala and announce it before the voting line opens.
Fame gurukul announced immunity before the performance.

No, they are too confused now. It would just be more chaos, something more to argue over. In FG, it was the faculty that selected the immune student, not the judges anyway. My suggestion earlier was that the judges select the bottom three each week. The public would then vote for these three contestants, just like in FG. But I doubt that would work.

It is a good suggestion, but would not be acceptable as they wud lose part of the revenue due to that contestant's fanclub not sending votes!! I think that is their main focus point, what say?? 😊
