Anyone else disgusted?

It really seems as if the Indian Idol audience, does not want to see a girl ever win. Which is an extremely sad state of an affair. Someone as talented Monali got the boot tonight. I remember last year, it was such a sorry state that only THREE girls made it to the Top 11(One dropped out, two left) Aditi Paul was a victim of a shock elimination & Prajakta Shukre just scraped through week after week, barely making it to the Top 4. This year, I can bet my life, if there was no gender split, only one or maybe two girls would have made it to the Top 12. What is surprising that there were not one, not two, not even three but FOUR singers, who performed pretty badly, were safe. Its a shame, that people fail to see the talent they have lost. Meenal has a week or maximum two weeks to survive, unless she can pull of the Prajakta Shukre card. Antara will be like Aditi Paul, she wont be in the bottom three, but when she will, she will depart.

I'm most probably going to stop watching Indian Idol...Not just because Indian Idol lost two great talents(IMO) two weeks a row, but also its going to be a pain sitting throught watching 4 EXTREMELY generic singers...I'm not going to name them, as I dont want to offend their fans...

Well this year, its out...Lets hope when & if there's an Indian Idol 3, II audience would have matured by then, highly doubtful, but still...Just wishful thinking.

The judges shud have the last say in who leaves! If they did that than the person deserving to go would go

You are absolutely right. You can expect three good singers to be in the bottom three each week instead of the worse singers. I hope Amey or Karunya will win. It's getting frustating to watch this show now. If a good singer goes next week I am not watching this crap anymore.

yea...the thing is i think more girls vote than guys so obviously mst wld vote 4 guys...guys probably think "this is so stupid....who cares"

Well, I was also disgusted "FrenchieRox", it's quiet frustrating to see the weak and less deserving singers to be in the safe-zone every week and singers like Monali, Meenal, Karunya, Amey & Antara in the bottom 3.

Who are these people voting for underserving singers, in ka pata lagao, in kay phone ki lines katwao, residence phones and cell phones, so that they can't vote thru calling or SMS, dimaag kharaab kiya hua hai in logo nay, voting for such less deserving singers every week !!

I guess I'm one of the few guys who watches & votes for this show!

And no, I dont mean Antara is like Aditi Paul(No one can be) I think something what happened with Aditi, will most probably happen to Antara.

I've said it all along that Indian Idol hs to have the same format of South African Idol.

I think we will be lucky to see another girl reach to the Top 5

well who wants a sweet girl like monali to leave. she had a hell of a voice which could rock whole india and she was pretty as well. i dont find a reson for her to get out so early. 😕

I think that it shouldnt be all up to the janta iether. I think the janta should pick the bottom 3 and the from that the judges pick who go out.

i also believe in your thought Shamit's Saiyan coz judges knows them better than anyone does.....
