Judges gone crazy

Oue esteemed panel of judges seemed to have lost it this time. They are not sure themselves whether they like a contestent or not

When Panna sang, Farah & Anu said that he sang really well, but sonu told him that he missed a lot of notes. Same was the case with Ravi

However, the biggest shocker was that in Monaliz performance....while Farah & Anu told her that she was just wonderful, Sonu said he was highly dissappointed & didn't like her performance at all

I would like to add here, that Sonu & Farah even had a fight regarding makeover

All the judges were interfering when the other person said something. Even Farah had to say to Anu, "Meri Turn hai, Mujhe Bolne Do"

All this is nice, but the only problem is that poor 'non-singers' like me cannot make out whether a singer sang well or not

I will highly suggest the judges to stick to one opinion & for heaven's sake STOP FIGHTING

Problem is that all of them look for different things in the contestants.

Sonu looks only for singing. Which is right according to me. I mean singing comes first then rest everything.

Farah looks for performance and presentation. Which is also important............but not more than singing according to me.

Anu.........well what do i say? He himself is confused personality. I don't even consider him as a judge.

So overall i think you should go with Sonu Nigam's comments; if you think singing is most important aspect of Indian Idol.

and the way Sonu scolded Meenal was so insulting 😭 specially after the clipping of the 3 girls that was shown before that performance .. she might not be that obsessed with her looks as the clipping showed and sonu pointed out :( .. it portrayed a sort of negative image of her 😕

I agree with wizgal.. its like.. fighting among judges r necessary in singing competition.
i still remember during Indian Idol 1 days, all judges used to be like cool cool buddies.. laugh, crack jokes etc.. they never used to fight.. but after 2-3 more competition.. everything is nw changed.. nw they all contradict each n every statement.
last time Sonu was always used to smile n used to give decent replies. but this time he is bit harsh.. which is good , if he is telling -ve points in their singing.

but, publically, on-screen , all judges fight like this, it shows hw kiddish they cud be, they r sitting on the hot seat of a judge, when they themselves cudnt decide who sang well n who performed well, hw can they expect public will give votes to the right person.

First of all, they should set some norms of What is Indian idol all about.

Tday's episode is like more of battle field than singing contest.

Meenal sang a very difficult song. Antara was screeching. Monali sang so many false notes. Amey was good. Karunya's song was easy. Poor Meenal, why attack her for make up and stuff. Antara was more interested in her saree and what not. Meenal was her quiet, dignified self.

Judges are very strange. Farha most of all doesn't know what she's barking. Priyanka Chopra was cute, na?

i agree... i think the strain of continuous shooting and million other commitments is showing in both the contestants and the judges.. 😕

Sakshi may be they wanna create some drama/sensation like one of popular musical show.So expect some more dramas in next few episodes.Hope they dont create some sonu or farah's gharana 😊 I am sure if they have gharanas Anu's gharana will be all about shayari let me sing one for him

But to fight among judges like this, its like kids fightin, i m right u r wrong...
One thing is sure, Farah is more concerned about performance, make-overs, sonu is more concerned abt sining, n anu's concentraton is more in to, wht sher should i speak after he/ she is thru with the performance.

Sonu is always consistent. he expects a lot from some ppl and gets upset when they don't sing well enough.

farah always only cares about performance so she'll comment on that anew

Anu ji is the best and judges each permance anew. this is really great about him. He doesn't judge with pre-conceived notions...whenever someone performs well he compliments them..
