Who is Suresh Wadekar?

Can anybody pzz tell me........I only know that he is the husband of Padma Maam (from FG) & a relative of Ravi Tripathi, but who is he?Is he famous?

He was one of the leading mainstream playback singers of Blooywood in the 80s and early 90s. His famous songs include-

1. 'aiye zindagi gale lagale' from Sadma.
2. 'Tum se milke aisa laga tumse milke arma huve poore dil ke' from Parinda.
3. 'Aur is dil mein kya rakha hai, pyar ka naam khuda rakha hai'- not sure about the name of the movie.

I guess this is enough to make out wot kinda singer he is. Personally, I love his voice and I feel he's a singer of high calibre.

I THINK he is a guruji....I THINK he's the one who taught meenal, and amey....and maybe rahul vaidya too becuz i saw padma ma'me with rahul during II1...

but im not sure...is it him?? ne1 noe??

Suresh wadekar is indeed padma maam's husband.not brother. She was his student but fell in love and got married. He is almost 18 years her senior.
