SRGMP people are big hippocrates.....first they go abt saying that their show is purely based on singing and then they have all sorts of dramas just to increase TRPs.

Indian Idol is abt the entire package....singing, personality & luck

in the end sa re ga ma pa has soo much better singers than indian idol.

i dont vote in SRGMP bcos the quality of singing is so good that i cant decide whom to vote

Honestly you can't decide who is the better singer but right now with all the politics and drama sadly the purity of SAREGAMAPA's image is tarnished slightly. yet it is a far superior show not that indian idol is not fun to watch but the amount of votes it got last week was pathetic. only 11 lakhs..should hopefully pick up as the show goes on.. and the audience gets a little more emotionally attached to the participants. SRGM got 70 lakh votes last week. but with all that melodrama lets see what happens.

II is more decent, more civilised as a show. I saw HR shouting 'maa ki kasam khaata hoon' and all in SRGMP. Then ID has his own moods. Walks off when he wants. He thinks its his home production. The mentors are actually spoiling the decorum of the show, they need to behave well.

The most I liked the show was when Sonu was the anchor. THEN, and if II was around that time, I would have said TVS SRGM is better. But not now.

To be fair, the quality of singing is better in SRGMP.
