Variations in expectations

Should the judges have different levels of expectations for each contestant? The judges seem to be having very high expectations on-

1. Karunya- which is very unfortunate for the guy because that ways he can never satisfy them and will keep getting negative comments.

2. Amey- because of his achievements prior to II and even a slight mistake (if any) will prove fatal as the judges will observe him under the microscope.

3. Sandeep- though comparitively less than the above two will be constantly criticized for his Udit Narayan hangover and originality could be his major problem if he doesn't come out of UN image.

Like Anu and Sonu we are equally worried about these good singers getting out of the show because of their expectations and not getting good reviews from the judges. PPl. please use your instincts while voting.

I dont care if Sandeep is out, really! He doesnt deserve it as much as the others!!!!! Sorry, just an honest opinion.

But yes, u r rite abt Karunya n Amey...Amey was fine this time round, but then KArunya was in a real tight spot....I remember the same thing happened to rahul vaidya...sonu told him tht he lsot his breath when he was dancing, and the next week Rahul was voted out because of such a minute mistake. 😭 😭

The judges r putting too much pressure as well on Karunya n Amey. The way Sonu commented abt KArunya in the gala rounds really shocked me esp after the way he spoke of karunya in the piano round! 😕

Sometimes I wish Sonu would stop telling Amey tht he sees him in the Top2/3 contestants...it'll put too much pressure on him!

Same here. But what surprises me is Farha's 😡 comments on his performance. On one hand, she said she liked Ravi Tripathi's and Sandeep's performance 😕 (both of htem didn't do anything except move their hands in 360 degrees direction) and on the other hand she said Sagar didn't perform openly and Karunya didn't perform well compared to others. Wot does she mean by that?

I guess when the judges have to make the decisions, they are very fair and impartial...i mean, they gave us very competent singers... but now, they know that they have no authority, so they talk only because they have to. and end up blabbering... I mean their comments are so inconsistent

Karunya didnt deserve so much negative comments. The judges need to forget what each singer is actually capable of and give an unbiased comment on that day's performance.
I still dont know what made Farah appreciate Ravi so much. She must have not heard the original song.

You read my mind maka. I think leaving aside their overall capability they shoul comment purely on how they performed that particular day.

I find Farah's comments to be biased and inconsistent at times. But I think she was hard on Sagar and Karyuna because of their choice of song. Both songs had fast tempos. Ravi and Sandeep's weren't so they weren't expected to move as much. 😕

But Sonynyu, don't you think even in slow pace songs there is a lot to perform. Of course you need not jump and move your hips like you do in fast numbers but that's what creativity is all about and Farha should know it as she's the choreographer.

Karunya n Amey will surely be pressurized by the judges to perform well in each round ! And Panna will be perhaps praised even if he doesn't sing well on a given day !!!

who cares wat farah says- the woman doesnt knw anything abt music and this is primarily a music contest not a dancing or performing contest....Hd farah heard jiya dhadak by himani she'd have never ever liked Ravi. I have a feeling karunya got penalised by farah maybe coz she didnt lik his dance steps...she's very critical when some1 dances...

It's only Sonu's opinion tht counts-which is the comments 4 karunya were so shocking...maybe sonu expected more frm karunya....

But karunya will bounce back...he's through the top 10 n thts wat matters!
