This is so not fair...aren't the performances supposed to be live? Panna cant asy 'cut' in a live show can he? Karunya doesnt get any special previliges when he has a bad throat so y shd. panna get a re-take....they have to show it as it is.....

This is not fair coz now Karunya might lose out on votes coz panna's performance was better😡 althought KArunya deserves to be in the next round?

How can he have a re-shot? Varun Badola wasnt allowed a re-shot in Nach BAliye when he screwed up, was he? I know they contestants r under some real pressure n tht panna's perforamance shd. be appreciated, but then wat happens is tht other candidates r losing out coz of this.

I agree...........this is SO VERY UNFAIR to all the other contestants.

In real life there is no retake. How can they claim this to be a reality show?

Falling sick is also not an excuse according to me. But still Karunya sang good. Hope he manages to get enough votes to make through this GALA.

In the first place this public voting system makes the whole thing unfair n then on top of tht u have this re-take thing to add to the woes....I knw life in unfair, but then you can try to make as less unfair as humanly possible

Well though it is unfair to perform for a second time on reality television, but I would like to add that though such a big incident took place (Panna received yellings for this too!!) when you see Panna's performance ,it seems hardly anything took place!!

If it had been any other participant, he/she would have been shattered by this incident and couldn't have been able to perform his/her best.

Full marks to Panna for giving such a nerve-racking performance despite such a controversy and holding his nerves when no one else could have!

panna's nerves would've relaxed when he'd have come to knw tht he was given a 2nd chance.....i dont see karunya getting a second chance coz of his bad throat

C'mon, of course its unfair on the other contestants but this is their 1st gala and Panna got punishment from Mr Katial in form of yellings and embarassment in front of more than a thousand people and the threat of being kicked out of the competition.

Can you imagine yourself giving such a performance if such an incident would have shattered you??

What? How can u praise panna 4 this.....he shd. be thanking his life he wasnt expelled. If this was American Idol n u had Simon there, then Panna would've had the day of his life 😆
He got the shouting frm Mr. Katial coz he deserved it....in this stage of the competition, he cant say 'cut'...wat is he, a film-star....n anyway, they all get a chance to practice with the background score....

This incident speaks volumes of panna's ability to perform live..

n ya, can u imagine karunya's state when he got no sympathy for his sore-throat...how could he have performed in tht 'shattered' state?
But no one sees tht. Why is there a different yardstick for panna n karunya?

They get a chance to perform with background score but do they get a chance to perform in front of a live audience?
And the guy got wat he deserved and he should not be slaughtered for his one mistake.
