Public verdict should be accepted

Some members of the forum and especially the judges of II seem to be criticizing public verdict every now and then. I think the judges need to take a cue from FG judges when it comes to accepting the public verdict. This reminds me of what Himesh Reshammiya said recently in Sa re ga ma pa. According to him, if the show is for public then their verdict must be accepted even if it doesn't match their expectations. There is no room for judges' personal opinions and favoritism once the show reaches public scrutiny.

The essence of the show is public participation and their verdict must be accepted no matter what. Janta ka faisla sar mathe!

True we shd. accept the public's verdict...but then it depends on wat basis the public is votign on....Im 10000000% sure tht PAnna, Sandeep n Neha got the votes simply coz they look good....or have this attitude abt them...

And coming to Himesh Reshammiya....his only motive behind making tht statement was to make sure his fav. vineet wins...vineet isnt the best singer in SRGMP but he gets the votes frm certain sections of the public because they fall 4 his love story n pyaar crap!

Come 2 think of it how many times has the public been rite....most of the top singers these days r SRGM singers (kunal ganjawala, sunidhi, shreya....n even Sonu got exposure coz of tht show)....these ppl werent declared winners of SRGM coz of public voting, they were selected by musicians......I cant see a qazi having the same singing career as a kunal ganjawala....I cant see ruprekha making it lik shreya....even Abhijeet for tht matter....how many ppl have actually heard his film songs....Im pretty unsure abt whether abhijeet will be as popular say 3-5 yrs. frm now

I knw public voting is a part of the II format...n thts why it becomes important for the judges to criticise the public's decision...coz criticism is the best teacher....thts the only way the public can guided towards picking the best singer...coz believe it or not, Sonu Nigam knows much more abt singing than the public

Judges r there to judge, n if they feel tht public r giving votes to a person who doenst deserve then obiously they will feel bad for the better contestant. ok.
here we knw amey, is a very good singer.. so if in next gaal round he is out then???
.....wont judges will feel bad or public... the way we feel bad anuj was also not selected, dilpeet wasnt selected. judges just tell them wht they feel.. its true.. an artist is 100% emotional person.. so especially singers thts y tht feel cud b felt in their voice... so if they feel something wrong.. then they will say...
in II-1 when Rahul saxena was eleiminated in the initial rounds, dont u think there was critizism of II everywhere.. n who did it.. public only...!! then also he was out... y? cud b he was the first indian idol.
abhijeet is my fav. but rahul saxena i felt is more deserving.
..in the end public decide the final verdict wht they like. but later on. sometimes tey themselves regret their decision.

In a way i agree!Look there is nothing like we should because
1:We are the janta! And the judges cant do more than give us the decision. They cant just give it to us ii members!!!
2:It has happened and cant change so just for your own peace of mind it is better to agree!

Well , I think the best way to resolve this would be to have 50% weightage to judge's points and 50% janta. That way we will not lose good singers.

The judges should leave it to the janta only and only because it is NOW the janta's turn to choose these contestants. The judges had their share of cake (i.e., power of short-listing contestants) and now it is the janta that needs to eat (vote for the best). The judges can't claim that the janta's share is more than theirs because it is the judges who have their share first and whatever is left by the judges (short-listed contestants) is being eaten by the janta. So, how can the judges blame the janta for eating whatever was left behind by them?
