Is Ravi Tripathi as bad as we think? - Page 2

I was feeling so bad for past couple of days to see all the hatred towards Ravi in this forum that I did not feel like logging in. I understand that most of the people wanted Kshitij to be selected and so did I. I was shocked when they announced Ravi's name. But later when Ravi Tripathi sang that song again; I felt that he was really good. He sounded so good, as if he has already taken the opportunity he got very seriously. Infact I felt that Kshitij should have been in, instead of Sagar and not Ravi.

Now Sagar fans...........don't kill me for this but Sagar's singing has not impressed me that much. I feel he got votes on the basis of his age factor and that performance he did with Aabha. But that's my opinion.

So guys please don't vote Ravi Tripathi off on the basis of Kshitij's exit. He is a good singer........just give him a chance.

I agree with 100%.

I would have to disagree. I think Ravi has a limited range and doesn't have a dynamic personality. He also seems to lack confidence and his body language is not very positive. I think one should be rewarded (atleast at this stage) based on how they perform under pressure. I think the voting public did dis-service to the other contestants by voting Ravi in. He did not deserve to be selected (based on his performance).

I agree! His selection is not fair to Kshitij. Not that I hate Ravi, but I really don't see him going too far in the competition.

I'm really sorry for ravi fans but i dont like him!!!Yea he is innocent looking and sngs pretty well but this comp is cutthroat and he cant survive here!He is a dropout of fame gurukul!!! 🤢

Lets not talk of FG here plz, that was a totally scripted show imagine ppl like arijit being voted out and all, crappy crap.

As for ravi i think he deserves to be in the top 12, and we can give him a second chance, i for sure want to coz i feel he sang a lot better after the results and yes as someone wrote here, he sang lot better than sagar. Dont know why ppl are all over sagar, i think in the three selected my choice is karuniya-ravi and sagar last.

Even though Ravi is a good singer... he just doesn't strike me as Indian Idol contestant..
he doesn't have that karisma...x-factor going for him..

he is more like a Sa Re Ga Ma Pa contestant... good but Boring..

y do u feel sorry.. u shud feel sorry 4 fans of the singers who got voted out if at all

u think ur not liking him is gonna mk a diff 2 his fans

he wasnt a dropout of fg.. he wasnt selected.... and he was definitely btr thn some of the singers in fg...

and yeah.. as of now even i dont see him winning ii.. best he can hope 4 is 2 be one of the last contestants to get voted out cos even tht helps as we hv clearly seen in the case of ii1
